After the fourth book i absolutly love them together!

In the second book, I started to really like Eric. I was so excited when Bill left Sookie in the third book, though I was sad for Sookie. But I knew where Charlaine was going.

it was so funny and great i fell in love with them that very moment

after i read the 3rd book i loved him!!!abd still hate bill after 9 books!!

I haven't read the books yet (I shall soon!) but I have loved Eric from the show the first second he appeared! He looked so hot and I love his personality and how he want's Sookie all to him self :D

I was alright with Bill and Sookie. I loved the chemistry between Eric and Sookie from book 1 - 3. Then book 4 really sealed the deal for me.

I am praying we'll get the show version of book 4!

TBH, i liked BS during S1 but i loved Eric's snark. Then S2 came along and i could see the potential... I started reading the books at the beginning of August & I'm already on the 6th one and i just love ES! ♥♥♥

Ever since he sent her the flowers that resembled a "ladies part" (ROFL) at the end of the first book I was hooked on their connection.

Only Eric would send a overly suggestive "get well" bouquet!

I started liking Eric in LDID when he was there for her Dallas and helped her back to her room and cleaned her up.

Kind of a mix I read the books while I was going through the series and they both kind of contributed. Alexander Skarsgard is such a hunk and Eric and Sookie have such good chemistry they must be together!

^ Totally agree. Alexander is hot. I saw the 1st season and was not blind to that. But, I liked Bill more than Sam who I thought was the major competition. After I was led on to the major changes in making Bill look like the white knight I was turned off and fled to Team Eric. Until I read the books I was blind to the essence of that relationship. I was in love with Eric the moment he staked Longshadow, but my real turning point was in Dallas when he was there for Sookie during Stan's party and Bill was caught up with Vamp Hos and later "the hunt." All the while Eric was there. Ah, love him. And, Sookie kept the bullet.

eric didnt really grow on me until season 2!!! i love him!

I loved him in the show before I ever read the books. I read the books at the end of season two. But in episode 2.03, when Sookie got mad and slapped him, that is when I knew that one day they would get together. It was so obvious that the chemistry between them was on fire, and that she would see him differently one day as the show went on.

Yeah, don't get that either.

I read the books first, in book 1 I kinda wanted her with Sam (didn't mind Bill, but didn't like them as a couple), but in book 2 I got intrigued by Eric more and more. Book 3 made me a shipper.

They seem to have had a chemistrey all through the seasons even though shes quoted hating his guts & been with Bill.Erics always helped her since she always ran to Eric when bill was in trouble.Season 4 when they were together they just went together perfectly:D
