What would have happened if Han Solo had died?

Yus, no Solo children, and Leia probably would not have gotten married. But it all depends when he died, if he had in 4 Luke would not have survived the Death سٹار, ستارہ attack because Han stopped Vader from blasting his ship. If Han had died in 5 (Probably when he got frozen in da carbonite) it would not only be sad, but the rebels wouldn't have had his help on Endor in 6. Then again, he wouldn't have fired that empty gunshot and alarmed the stormtroopers. But I'm glad he lived ^^

As far as George Lucas is concerned, he doesn't seem to be interested in سٹار, ستارہ Wars after Episode VI. If he had killed off Han, I doubt that there would have been any scene filmed to bring closure to the issue.

As far as the شائقین are concerned, I believe we would all be pissed off, understandably. From Episode IV to Episode VI, we watched Han's evolution from "loveable roque and badass" to "heroic rebel hero". To see him die on screen would hit most of the شائقین like a brick to the face, most likely because of Lucas' bad habit of killing off characters like punks (Kit Fisto, Jango and Boba Fett come to mind). The sadistic "Lucas" in me would have killed Han during the Carbonite freezing, in the Sarlacc pit یا snapped his neck after the fall from the Ewoks' net trap ;P

As far as Leia is concerned... well, it's a big galaxy. I find it hard to believe that a hottie like her wouldn't be able to find anyone to love and marry. Of course, there's always the option of Lando...

As far as Han's progeny are concerned, the trip to ہوم One aboard the Millenium فالکن and the stay aboard ہوم One prior to boarding Tydirium provides plenty of time and opportunities for Han and Leia to have a quickie. شائقین and writers would have no problem coming up with stories of Han's children despite his passing on screen. Thankfully, no one has had to suffer "the death of Han Solo" on film.
