starbucks still has way less shops in way less countries than Mcdonald's; mcdonald's was one of the first to start economically colonializing countries outside the US. So many other businesses are truly ""taking over the world," but nobody complains about them (Pizza Hut, McDonald's, etc)...people just complain about Starbucks. I have to wonder why that is.

Ya, I would say McDonald's is more than Starbucks, but still...

As opposed to all the other fast food companies and what not, i dont mind AT ALL that starbucks is taking over the world, i desperately want them to take over DENMARK!!

oh yes. and my 10th grade math teacher had a take over the world theory that he could put in computer chips in clothing to make people ill until they went to starbucks and listened to brainwashing poetry. my old math teacher will team up with starbucks to become world controller. 0.0

The difference is that in many places I have seen two or more Starbucks directly across the street from each other.
