I m not really sure... The ending fit with the storyline and all, but I kinda wanted to see Roland get a normal life or something. And The TOWER continues to fall....

It was a mammoth series and marvelous one! The journey with Roland to the tower was enchanting…! But… something was missing when it ended. I doubt whether the author himself is happy with the way it turned out in the last volume. I had an empty feeling…. I miss Roland……..!

I loved it! I totally did not see it coming... I don't think it could have ended any better, although I felt immensely sorry for Roland that he had to put up with it all over again...

@beastialmoon The Tower doesn't continue to fall, by the end of the series they have saved it by stopping The Breakers from breaking down The Beams. True Roland goes back to the Desert at the end but the path the story follows is implied to be the same, the same things will happen, nothing will change, except perhaps the very end, where the horn he now has may perhaps give him peace.
