At first I was like "awwh! that's kind of cute <3" but the more I thought about it the more I realised that Dean doesn't want Lisa, he just wants a family and someone who won't leave him, and who will love him unconditionally. And I just do not like the idea of Dean giving up hunting to play house with some chick that he barely knows just because she has a son, and she'll take him in always. ARGH. It really, really bugs me. *pouts*

As for Dean and Anna .. the first time we saw Dean/Anna, I liked it, but the more she came back the less I liked her, especially when she went all 'kill Sam' on our ass.

I don't mind them as much though. I'd much rather he have sex with Anna again than stay with Lisa ;)

Although I agree that Dean is attracted to Lisa because she's a ready-made family and always welcomes him with open arms...I don't see that as being horrible. IMO Dean deserves a chance to 'play house' for once. He deserves a chance to see how the other side lives, a chance to be with one woman for more than one night. A chance to see if maybe he can love someone outside of his family, have a life outside of his family and outside of hunting.

Frankly the ready-made family that Lisa provides and the promise that Sam forced Dean to make is the only way that Dean would take this chance and seize something that he's secretly wanted for years...a family of his own. There's no way that he could develop a real relationship with a woman and gradually build up into this situation. It's just impossible. The closest possibility for that happening was Jo...but it didn't happen and it's not going to now. :(

As for Anna...I still think she's a great character. Although I think they could have developed her a great deal more in Season 5 and been more explicit about what happened to her in Heaven. I understand that she was trying to do the right thing when she attacked Sam. IMO she got the short end of the stick. First, she's the one who convinced Castiel to start thinking for himself. She tries to help the boys stop the apocalypse. And what does she get for her trouble? Castiel betrays her and turns her into the winged goons. Who proceed to do God knows what to her for who knows how long. She comes back to earth [which is never adequately explained how] to see that the apocalypse is happening, the boys have failed and the earth and humanity that she loves is going to hell in a handbasket. So she decides to take action, go back in time and kill the Winchesters, preventing the apocalypse from ever happening, trying to save lives. I wish she had worked with the boys to come up with a different solution, but her heart was definitely in the right place. No different than when Sam bled a woman dry because he thought he was preventing the apocalypse.

^ I agree, I understand Anna, I just don't like her with Dean. Not because of the wanted to kill Sam thing, but because she's an Angel. She got her grace back, and it just wouldn't work. Angel + Human? I .. don't think so.

it's like when people ship Dean and Castiel. (which I do on some level) it can NEVER work for them. They're literally from two different worlds.

As for Lisa - I agree, he does deserve his chance. I just don't like the idea of Lisa. Why her? Out of all the women he's fucked - out of Cassie - he went at least two years without talking to her and suddenly he shows up on her doorstep and tells her that he wants to be happy with her? It doesn't make much sense. The writers need to address that issue. Also if she tries to take Dean away from Sam I am going to cut a bitch ;D

And yeah, it's true that Dean and Anna would never work out but I kind of like the idea of that almost doomed relationship. I don't see them as an endgame couple, I never really have. I guess when I ship a couple, I don't necessarily think they need to be forever after. The knowledge that the relationship would end at some point isn't going to put me off it.

And that kind of brings me to Dean/Lisa. I'm not sure it's going to last, I have no idea if she's his 'endgame' but I think I'll enjoy the ride no matter where it leads.

And as for him just suddenly thinking of her after two years and seeking her out...I actually think there's a very specific catalyst for that decision. In 99 Problems, Dean encounters a mother who loses her son. And the kid died on Dean's watch- you know he blamed himself for it. I think that's the moment that he began to think of Ben and Lisa. All the talk of who was going to be accepted into paradise and who wasn't made him think of them, made him realize that they were going to be affected by the apocalypse too. And he would be responsible for their deaths and for them not getting into paradise.

It's true that they could have had a few more hints that Dean had feelings for Lisa and Ben beyond what was show in Season 3...but the storyline is so jampacked full of stuff that it's hard to fit details like that in. And it's not like Dean is going to open up and talk to Sam about them is it? And how else would they show what they meant to him? I mean, Sam had to be in Dean's dream for him to even get an inkling last time. And I don't think Dean's been pining away for Lisa over the years, but I'm sure that like he said, in his deepest, most secret moments when he thinks of life without hunting, he thinks of her and Ben. And it's true it's not because he loves her but because she represents what he secretly wants. But like I said before, I don't have a problem with that and it's not like love can't grow from this.

To be honest I think i'm just worried about Lisa causing problems for the boys. I really don't think my heart can take another season 4 :( I need them to be okay together again <3 Sam and Dean are my OTP - endgame - epic - whatever you want to call it. And I don't even mean Wincest (although I do ship that too) I mean paltonically .. the love story that these boys share is everything. I hate the thought of .. a family/girl coming between that. After all of this - after all they've been through together for it to end with Dean having a homebase with Lisa, and only hunting with Sam on weekends or something .. I think it would KILL me.

Yeah, I'm not sure how Dean's relationship with Lisa will affect his relationship with Sam. But IMO I think it would be healthy for both of them to have something outside of each other. Although I love their relationship and think they should always be close...I don't think it should exclude other people. That's just not healthy. And I'd like to see them happy in a romantic relationship. And since I don't ship them as a couple that means other people have to be involved! lol

I don't view Lisa as a threat to their relationship really. In fact, I kind of view Sam as a threat to Dean and Lisa's relationship. I know that if forced to choose Dean's going to pick Sam. I mean, when has Sam not come first with Dean? It took the end of the world for Dean to let Sam sacrifice himself...placing humanity above his brother's life. So yeah...I don't think Lisa stands much of a chance.

Sooo for Dean and Anna I still like her-agree with what fanfly said-and themm together,not that I think that she could be the love of his life and have a life together,but in that moment she was there for him and she was right for him,even if just in that moment.Of course in the moment she became an angel again was obvious that there was no chances for them,but was anyway a great pairing.

I mean I know it's totally different but the last time a woman came between them-Ruby-look how ended,I know Ruby tried on purpose to separate them but still,wasn't one of the worst thing ever happened?? and Sam back in season 1,with all the "normal life" thing and Jessica was away from his family and even "What Is and What should never been has shows us the effect that normal life with girls have on them,destroy their relatinship.
I'm not saying that they don't deserve to have someonelse,of course their relationship sometimes it's not healty,being the only one in their respective lives,but I believe they don't know how be with someonelse and at the same time together,and inevitably this make them grow apart,and let's face it,of course S5 ended with a great proof of their love,but their relationship has been seriously damaged and weak at some point during all S5,so IMO Lisa just doesn't came at the right time and I'm really afreaid she could cause more struggles.

I don't want to write a paragraph of my angst towards Anna but I do have some. She's my least favorite character. I don't really think they had much of a relationship (Except for the back sex :D). I don't hate Lisa but I do agree with ya Dean-girlx. He doesn't really love her he just wants to keep the promise to Sammy & live the apple pie life. :)

I don't like either of them but between the two anna wins just because she can and will fight and hunt and has that personality which is the type who belongs with Dean

I dont think Dean WANTS Lisa, just the safety and family and love that she has, Anna seems to have more of a "Dean personality" Apart from killing Sam she's alright.

ok its not that i hate dean/lisa it just that they make no sense to me whats so ever!! they were a meaningless fling years ago, and then all of a sudden he goes there one night an tells her that when he pictures himself happy its with her?? it makes no sense!! i guess i could understand if it was dean/cassie (even tho i hate that couple with every fiber in my being!!) they were in love...or maybe some other love interest of dean's that we just haven't found out about yet (one can hope lol) would make sense, but lisa, noo!!

i understand the whole family side of it, that he wants a family and lisa's the only way he has that option...but why can't he start a family with a person that he's in love with, or why can't he try and see how he feels about lisa and date her before he gets all family like with her??

there are so many different ways they could have approached it, but they didn't which is sad

Stopped liking Anna after she went back in time to kill their family...just couldn't find it my heart to like her after that.
