The first time I saw the movie I was crying the whole day for her and now I've seen the movie about 3254765871641 times and still cry for Mrs. Lovett

Poor Mrs. Lovett, I cried so hard when she died. And I cried about HOW she died. It was horrible! I was a mess after I finished watching it, but I was crying the most for Mrs. Lovett.

Just like Sweeney said. They all deserved to die. I was still sad with their deaths, but Mrs Lovett and Sweeney were murderers. Lucy was put out of her suffering, And Turbin was wicked and life was made quick.HE definately deserved it.

^ No Mrs. Lovett didn't kill so she's not a murderer, she only cooked the flesh of those that Sweeney kills .. thats not bad is it ?

i thought Nellie's death was definitely the saddest-her being thrown in there was awful!

I was so sad when she died she was my favorite character and I didn't want to see her dying in such a terrible way.Being thrown into an oven is one of the most painful ways to die.She didn't deserve to be killed in such a terrible way by the man that she loved :(

i cried when sweeney died

mrs lovett's was probably the most painful, but sweeney's was terrible- he had just lost absolutely everything!

The man she loved threw her in there, and hearing her scream shook me a bit.

The others (except for Turpin's) were sad as well, but didn't startle me as much as Nellie's.

Lucy definitely.

I picked Lucy. Her life went to Hell, and years later she finally meets her love again, and starts to recognize him a bit, only to be murdered by him. She truly was a victim to Benjarmin, Turpin, and Lovett. She's raped by Turpin, slowly loses it, where Mrs. Lovett doesn't offer any help, and wants her downfall because she's obsessed with her husband. Then that very same husband ends up murdering her. So I do sympathize a bit more with Lucy, and it's a bit easier to do.

Sweeney was a murderer,
Lovett was not much better than Turpin, so I think she got what she deserved for chasing after a married man who doesn't love her, and intentionally letting him believe his wife is dead.. I think she was infatuated, or felt limerence for Sweeney -not love. She was possessive, and showed she cared more about her own feelings than his when she lets him live in grief thinking his wife was dead, rather than admit she's alive and have him return to her. I don't think love is that selfish and possessive. But I can definitely see lust, limerence, or infatuation fitting that.

Because we all deserve to die, even you Mrs. Lovett, even I.

Todd had been deceived into believing Lucy was dead and unknowingly killed the Love of his life. After all she suffered she was almost reunited with the love of her life but thanks to Lovett and Turpin it was destroyed.
