Andy lives in a small, quaint town that nobody has ever heard of. A town where nothing ever goes wrong, but nothing ever goes great either. Andy lives in a town where nothing ever happens. For so long, he followed this current, not knowing anything else.
One day, Andy was on his daily routine, jog in the dark morning گھنٹہ just before sunrise. Oddly enough, on this particular run, he started thinking. His trail of thought took a sharp turn and wandered off its usual, familiar path. He started wondering what it would be like to experience something different. What would happen if he took an unusual turn left یا ran in the opposite direction? Something he, nor anyone he had ever known, had ever dared یا even desired to do. Andy wanted to learn what else, if anything was out there.
He thought about tasting new flavors; he wants to hear new sounds; he craves to smell new scents; he needs to experience new joys. As Andy continued to jog, he felt a strange pull, slowly guiding his feet to the edge of his standard path. As he crossed the boundary into the untried, he broke into a sprint and made his way as fast as he could with renewed gusto until he was forced to stop at Earth’s Edge. He inched toward the ledge and peered down to see an ocean of tiny bright, twinkling lights. He smiled at the sight of what he was sure to be Heaven, and then looked up at the sky wondering how it got down here, and noticed the sun was quickly rising. He looks back down and took a gasping step back as he saw not Heaven, but a continuation of his own Earth. He saw trees and گھاس just as he’s seen at home. He noticed tiny houses and buildings larger than any building he had ever seen. This place looked so familiar, yet so foreign at the same time. He made out the movement of crowded automobiles slowly treading along the concrete pathways. These were familiar too, but on a much smaller scale. Both shocked and inspired, Andy ran back ہوم to share his new discovery. He now believes that Earth is boundless.
When he told his story, very few believed him. Only his closest دوستوں and family trusted him, but not without great reluctance. Andy offered to دکھائیں them what he had seen, but they all refuse. They all sensed danger and warned Andy to forget about everything he may have seen, but he was so eager to return to his newly discovered wonder and explore, that he began to contemplate going on his own. Everyone told him to stay put because it's too dangerous, but Andy felt it has to be done. He had to go out and investigate. He had to see what was out there. If he didn’t, his curiosity would get the better of him and haunt him for the rest of his life. He was tired of doing the same exact things every single day, and now, he was forced to listen in on whispers claiming him to be insane and delusional. Finally, Andy made his decision to give up on everyone he knows and do as he chooses for the first time ever. He was devastated that he would be leaving his only home, his only friends, and his only family, but still remained true to his decisions. To cope, he silently promised himself that he will come ہوم to visit every now and then.
As he started his journey, he paused to look back at his disapproving loved ones and کہا disdainfully, "Oh, have آپ ever seen the lights?", then continued forward.
Once Andy left his hometown, what he saw really opened his eyes. Everybody was rushing around, zipping this way and that way.
He felt lost.
Andy wandered helplessly around in the sea of strange, busy faces until he came across an old man in tattered old clothing sitting on the dusty ground. He approached the man and asked him if they could help each other out. The man only laughs and told him "Kid, آپ need to go back where آپ came from. These people will eat آپ alive. Trust me, Kid. I've been there."
Now confused and startled, Andy somehow found his way onto an underground train as a young man pulls out a weapon and pointed it to the crowded corridor and made it explode in his hand. A tiny میزائل raced toward him, but Andy managed to jump to the side. Everybody screams and an elderly woman fell to her knees. After the initial shock wore off, Andy gets up and celebrated his survival aloud until he noticed the degrading looks on everyone's face as they ran to the aid of the old woman. He saw the blood pouring out of her chest and ran away from the crowd in a terrified frenzy. He stepped out of the tunnel and looked around. He کہا to himself...
"I see London,
I see Sam's Town now!"
