They have developed all of them so well that I love them all :)

one too many, and this one is named Meredith. But I wouldn't oppose more good characters joining the cast, as long as it doesn't end up like the simpsons.

there are a lot of characters, but i think it works on this show, because the storylines arent really complicated and its easy to keep track of each one.

I think so too. And besides, think how many "characters" there are in our own workplaces, and how different and weird they can be? Some you barely notice, some you would give anything to get rid of, some who are so interesting that you wish you knew more about them (although it might be scary), and some you choose to spend personal time with outside of work. It's genius!
