His character just stands out for me. Someone who seems so tough and mean, has had such a bad life but really they're not all they seem and are quite emotional underneath (as we see in Johnny's death). I know lots of people like that because of the area I grew up in, so I can relate. Plus, Matt Dillon is gorgeous in the movie ofc ;)

Thank you! All of the characters in The Outsiders stand out to me, but I am afraid that beyond emotion and caring, I cannot truly relate to the kids experiences. Matt Dillon does portray Dally very well in the movie, but I must say, I was disappointed when my تصاویر of his shattered. "Is THAT supposed to be Dally?!" After watching the moviea few times, I relent on my first reaction, but still.....:D What does "ofc" stand for, I wonder.......
I watched the movie before reading the book, so Matt was the first image I had of Dally! I was surprised to learn of his original hair and eye colour xD (I have a poor attention span so I favour فلمیں over books; yes, I'm aware that's a crime xD) I think he played the character great as well! Life in my area was tough growing up so I certainly know a few people who remind me of Dally! (And btw, it stands for of course :D)
