I saw this post on Tumblr and wanted to share it to آپ guys. I absolutely agree with this.

Here it goes:

"How is it okay to have sex with your brother’s ex? Think about it. How would آپ react if your brother had sex with your ex? That would not be okay in the real world and I don’t understand why it is okay in TVD. It’s disgusting. If my sister would have sex with my ex a دن after our break-up, I would not be able to forgive her, ever. DE sex wasn’t romantic at all, it was sickening. And don’t give me crap about how Damon had to suffer three seasons of Stefan and Elena. First of all, Elena was Stefan’s GIRLFRIEND, that’s the first difference. There was nothing wrong with it. It wasn’t Stefan’s fault Damon fell in love with HIS girlfriend. In season three Elena and Stefan weren’t even in a relationship with each other. There were plenty of Damon and Elena scenes."

It's an opinion. Which means, there's not correct یا wrong answer in this article. This is what the person thinks. Hear her out.

Manonx I do not agree with this. This would be the worst thing a brother could do in the real world, but we have to keep in mind TVD is a morally grey show. We are rooting for a bunch of murderous vampires and their helpers for god's sake! [really intriguing to think about, imo :)] We see the Council as evil, when they are just trying to protect their town. I also stand by my conviction that this was inevitable, and that Damon and Elena would have had sex sooner or later (some feelings you just can't deny any longer). Does waiting a little while longer make it any more okay? A week? A month? A year? Nope, there are always gonna be people who say Elena is a slut, and Damon is the worst brother ever. And while a day after the breakup is a really short time, we also have to keep in mind these are vampires, and they act on their emotions. I think once D & E were alone it couldn't be stopped. Also... what did you expect? This show is advertised as a LOVE TRIANGLE, and it was about time they gave the other half of it a proper chance. Sooner or later she would have gotten it on with Damon, anyway. [I'm not saying you aren't allowed to have your opinion... this is just how I think about it when people are saying that Damon and Elena as a couple is SO wrong - to which I could give more reasons as to why I don't think that's true.. but that's not what this is about.] Ehm... I don't really get what you are trying to say with "Hear her out"? And.. "In season three Elena and Stefan weren’t even in a relationship with each other. There were plenty of Damon and Elena scenes." What does this have to do with her opinion on Elena having sex with Damon? Don't get that either.

By the way according to Julie P "What we wanted to do in the writers' room was to give Stefan and Elena the most human, honest, and respectable breakup between a couple that had been that important for so long, [i]and to put a real end to that, so that there was a freedom for her to now give in to this passion and this interest that's been brewing for over two and a half seasons. ggdelena i don't agree because the show from day one was said to be a love triangle between a girl and two brothers.
