Meryl Streep is a marvelous actress. She has that kind of voice that would be great. I think Tim Burton/Johnny Depp would go great with Meryl Streep. I know Anjelina Jolie said she wants this part, but she is completely wrong for this part. My second choice is Helena.

I think Sigourney Weaver would be perfect in this part. A movie of Burton/Depp/Carter and Sigourney = heaven. I agree with the post above, please, no Anjelina.

Susan Sarandon has that large marvelous eyes, and powerful acting that would make her perfect for this part.

I think most of these women would be decently good. Since it is a Tim Burton film, it's a given that Johnny Depp will be in it, and if Winona Ryder is in it, it'll be too uncomfortable for them. Winona is an ok actress, but her days with Burton and Depp are long over.

Back in the day, I might have voted for Winona Ryder, but I don't think she fits the part as well as she used to. It's a Tim Burton movie and probably Johnny Depp will be in there somewhere and it would be just too uncomfortable for them to work together again.

After seeing her in Narnia as the evil queen, she would be perfectly cast as Maleficent. She is by far the best of these choices.

I believe Anna Friel should get the role of "The Queen of all Evil". Her portrayal of Elizabeth Bathory otherwise known as The Blood Countess in the film "Bathory" was outstanding and her performance made a very strong impact on me.

She does great evil characters so...
