Note: This one's from Ash's point of view. Hope the few people who are reading it enjoy.
Also, can't wait until they get older and I can make them do other things: strip each other, make out...XD. My mind is so sick.

My clock read 9:47. I lay I my bed, my face buried in my تکیا to muffle my sobbing.
What was wrong with me? What had I done to deserve this?
I felt the tight feeling in my stomach, مزید painful than it usually is. I needed to throw up again. I got up and leaned over the small trash can in the corner of my room. My stomach heaved, but nothing came up.
I crouched down and leaned my forehead against the wall. A tear trickled down my cheek.
I thought about Lisa’s mom. She cooks for her. She gardens. She gives Lisa hugs and jokes around and dresses like a normal person.
And Quin’s mom. She’s friendly. She loved art. She always looks after Quin. She’s always there for him.
I wiped my eyes off and stared at the ceiling. My eyes stung from the tears.
My phone buzzed. It sounded so loud in the deadly quiet room. I dug it out of my pocket and held it to my ear.
“Hello?”
“Hey. This is Lisa.”
“Hi. What’s up?”
“Nothing much. I needed to talk to someone. Can’t fall asleep. The house is too quiet.”
“Yeah. Here too,” I said. I was glad she had called.
“You okay? آپ sound upset.”
I realized I was still crying. I wiped the tears away on the back of my hand. “Yeah. I’m fine. I’m fine.”
“Okay. I didn’t wake آپ up یا anything, did I?”
I shook my head, then realized how stupid that was, because for one thing, we were talking on the phone, and for another thing, even if she was here, it was too dark for her to see me anyway.
“You didn’t wake me up,” I said. “I couldn’t sleep.”
“Okay, good. I mean, not good that آپ couldn’t sleep, but good that I didn’t wake آپ up. I gotta go now, ‘kay?” Talk to ya later?”
“Sure. Bye.”
“G’bye.” She hung up. I closed my phone.
Again the silence and the tears overwhelmed me. I climbed into bed, covered myself with the sheets, and sobbed.
I cried myself to sleep as the clock struck midnight.
My eyes were red and swollen the اگلے day, and I had dark circles under my eyes. A few people stopped to ask me if I was alright.
Only a few, though. The rest avoided me یا snickered to each other as I passed. I should be used to it سے طرف کی now. It happens all the time.
But it still hurts.
I was pretty happy to find Zoë, though. I felt comfortable around her. She took one look at me and asked me what was wrong.
I shook my head. “Nothing. I’m fine.” I thought about my mom. What if she had been normal? And had a normal life? Think of how much easier that would be.
Suddenly I realized something. I carried the genes. There was a chance I would get that, یا if I had kids, they would get it, یا their grandchildren, یا their grandchildren.
The knot in my stomach grew stronger. I crossed my arms over my stomach, forcing myself not to throw up.
Zoë touched my shoulder. “You okay?”
I nodded. “I’m fine.” I saw her incredulous expression. “Seriously, Zo-Mo, I’m fine.”
I heard footsteps. Someone wrapped their arms around my neck. I turned around. It was Tonia.
“You okay?” she asked. Her brow was wrinkled in concern.
“I’m fine,” I said. She was really hot. Those bright green eyes really got to me. “You’re cute when you’re worried,” I blurted out. I felt my face get hot.
She smiled. “Really?”
My cheeks were burning. “Yeah.”
She grinned, turned to walk down the hall, then hesitated and turned back to me. “You’re always cute,” she said, kissing me on the nose. Then she walked off.
Zoë made a sound sort of between a choke and a sob. Then she stormed away, wiping her eyes furiously.
I realized Zoë was kinda cute too.
I found her sobbing in the computer lab later that day. I went up to her and put my hand on her shoulder.
“Go away,” she mumbled.
I put my hand under her chin and tipped her face up towards mine. “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.”
“Seriously, Zoë.”
“I…I…I like you.”
“You what?”
“I like you,” she کہا louder.
“You like me, like me?”
“Yeah.” She looked away. “And I’m mad because why would آپ pick me over her when she’s so PERFECT!?” She shouted the last word so loud that I almost covered my ears.
“Zo-Mo.”
“What?” Her voice was hard, bitter. Granite and steel.
“Look at me.”
She obliged. Tears were streaming down her cheeks. She looked absolutely miserable.
I lifted her face again and kissed her gently on the lips. It felt good. Her lips were soft and warm.
I remembered the first time I had kissed a girl. Penelope Keith. Seventh grade. Kid stuff.
This didn’t feel like kid stuff.
I pulled away from Zoë.
She had a mystified look in her eyes. “Um…” she raised her hand to her lips, but didn’t touch them, as if that would wipe away the kiss. “Um…Tonia?”
“History,” I said.
She touched her cheek instead, wiped away the tears. “Promise?”
“Promise,” I said.
I wish I could say I had kept that promise.
Also, can't wait until they get older and I can make them do other things: strip each other, make out...XD. My mind is so sick.
