I really think hes perfect for edward!!but he always has a blush on which i admire the most cause its so fuuny evertime he blushes on those interviews(if any1 has noticed)....i thiks hes got the looks,the DAZZLENESS in him,the skills...COUGH COUGH...AND mnay more...i love him as edward!and the movie will turn out great!!!:)

OK,guys give Robert a break if you ask me he is a pretty close Edward and that's saying something considering everyone pictures Edward as a god "aka Adonis". Poor Robert that is a really big image to live up to and personally I think he is doing a great job.
Granted I really wanted Henry Cavill or Hayden Christensen to play Edward, but Robert will definitly work for me.

I agree with Twilight555. At first I flipped out. I was like "No, absolutely not. Yes, he is adorable, but he's not MY Edward.. like the one in my head."

Okay, so now that I've seen the movie, I've decided that I do like Robert Pattinson as Edward. For the most part, I thought his interpretation and the way he played Edward really worked.
But for the record, his nose looks silly in this picture. XD

Everyone keep saying he is because he's gorgeous ((which i dont think hes that good looking but ok)) but i think ACTING-wise not that good of a choice. In the book, Edward always had his little mood swings && that only happened once in the movie. In the book, it was an every page thing. && to make the mood better, Edward would smile everyones favorite crooked smile, which Robert Pattingson DIDN'T!

But all in all, good choice.

Rob is perfect to play Edward. I don´t imagine the movie without him. Because I wouldn't even see New Moon if Rob wasn't in it...So to me, he still perfect in every way!!! :DD

Honestly I agree with both "he's has close as you can get" and "I can't picture anyone else as Edward". I think people were expecting the unhumanly beautiful guy, people were not expecting Rob (or a HUMAN) but Edward. Everyone wanted their own Edward, the one they imagined, but everyone has their own personal Edward. But of course he's not Edward, he's human, he has his own flaws, like everyone else. But I truly think that has a HUMAN he's own of the (if not THE) most beautiful man on the planet. If he's Edward? Of course not! But I think he's has humanly possible to be dazzling beautiful. I think people had way too high expectations for the actor, they expected the unhumanly beautiful unhuman instead of a humanly gorgeous actor and they got disapointed. Sorry...
