I guess he was really distracted سے طرف کی james killing!! plus the living room in bella´s birthday must be smaller then the ballet studio and all the atention was focused at bella, including jasper´s and in the ballet studio no, the point was killing james... i don´t if آپ are understading me!! i guess i can´t explain better! sorry :)

Think about Edward later on...Jasper was cooped up with her alot before hand in the hotel. He was used to her scent. But he stayed away from her after. So he became less immune to her. Therefore, when she bled, he attacked.
