Chapter Five
(Edward and Bella’s P.O.V’s featured)
(Normal Pairings, ALL HUMAN!)
Bella’s P.O.V:
Whenever we walked in the door, I took the water and gulped down a drink. I hadn’t realized I was so thirsty. Edward and I had drove over together, and we actually talked. He didn’t say much, but agreed on most of what I said. He was driving, and as I کہا I wanted to keep the baby, and wanted him to be as involved as he wanted to be in the baby’s life. I swore I saw him smile a little bit. Anyways, whenever we walked into the house where Ella-Mae was crawling around, Edward picked her up. She was all smiles, her uncle kissing her. He set her on the ground on her feet. I was about to say she couldn’t walk whenever she took hold of his jean leg. I looked at her. What was Ella-Mae doing? That’s when something مزید amazing than the Northern Lights happened. My god-daughter walked for the first time. She had supported the first step from Edward’s jean leg, but then, she walked over to where James was standing. “Ella!!” Rosalie cried happily. “She’s walking, Emmett!!” She yelled. Emmett ran into the room along with Alice and Jasper. “Who?” he asked. Then he saw his daughter. “She’s walking.” He کہا in disbelief. “How?” Rosalie pointed at Edward. “You? آپ did it?” Edward shrugged. “I set her on the ground and helped with her first steps.” Emmett walked over and man-hugged Edward. Then he picked up Ella-Mae in triumph.
“Bells, it’s your turn!!” Alice shook my arm, snapping me back into reality. We had decided to play Monopoly. It wasn’t much of a game, because it was only us girls. I took my turn, still daydreaming about Edward and our baby. “Rose, it’s your turn.” I hadn’t heard much out of her since we had started. Monopoly was her پسندیدہ game, and she usually talked your ear off whenever we played any game, and Monopoly wasn’t any different. Rose didn’t respond to me, and when I turned to look at her, she was clutching her stomach, as if something hurt badly. “Rosalie, what’s wrong.” She looked up, and I could see, she was crying. “Get. Emmett. Take Ella.” I dashed out into the living room and pulled on Emmett’s شرٹ, قمیض collar. “Emmett…Rosalie!” He jumped up, almost knocking me down. Edward got up, and steadied me. Jasper followed Emmett out. “Edward.” I said. “Get Ella.” I felt dizzy, so I threw myself onto the couch. Then I felt nauseas. I sprung up and ran to the bathroom. I hung over the toilet. Edward must have heard me because he ran in, and sat Ella on the floor. He held my hair, as I puked out all the food I’d had that day. When I was done, I was crying. “You ok?” I nodded and wiped my mouth with my wrist. I grabbed Ella-Mae, and Edward’s hand and we closed the door and walked over to the Volvo. I couldn’t run anymore. Edward strapped Ella in the back. There wasn’t a car نشست in his car, so she had to sit there. I kept looking back to make sure she was ok. She had fallen asleep. Whenever we got to the hospital, Edward woke me up, because I guess I had fallen asleep too. 
Edward helped me out, and handed me Ella. He handed me a change of clothes, because hers were dirty from crawling. She wore Pull-Ups, so he handed me one of them, just in case. I sighed. This would be me soon. Oh, and Edward. I walked inside the bathroom of the hospital. I thought it would be a single one, but it had stalls. I went over to the changing area and set her on the table. “Aunt Bella.” She said. I tickled her as I took off her little white tunic. I replaced it with a little شرٹ, قمیض that said, “I am BERRY cute!!” It had a little رسبری, تُوت الارض with eyes and a mouth. After that, I took off her short jean shorts and put on black shorts that went to her knees. She didn’t need changed, so I put the Pull-Ups in my purse. I held her hand and walked out with her, and we saw Edward who was standing at the counter talking to the receptionist, who had WAY too much makeup on her face. I walked over to him, and handed him Ella-Mae. “Sir, you’re going to have to stay out here until further notice.” I caught her say. She spotted Ella-Mae and said, “Oh, is she yours? She’s adorable?” I shook my head and so did Edward. I was about to say something before Edward did, “Our niece, Ella-Mae.” “She’s Rosalie Cullen’s daughter…so…I’m sure Emmett’s wondering where she is.” He said. She scowled at him. “No, Mr. Cullen. Stay in the waiting area, until further notice.” She said. Edward sighed and took Ella from me. “Let’s go wait.” He walked Ella over to the kid’s play area. “Ella, go play. Stay right there.” She nodded and kissed his cheek. We walked over to a blue couch, that sat close enough to the play area, so if anything would happen we could stand up, walk a few steps and grab her.
Edward’s P.O.V:
She fell asleep against my shoulder about 10 منٹ later. I kept watching Ella-Mae, who was playing with the cardboard bricks in the corner. She didn’t do much, and was no problem to watch. I stroked Bella’s hair as she breathed softly. I couldn’t help myself, so I lifted up her shirt. Whenever I looked it revealed a small bump. It wasn’t noticeable without lifting it up, but it was noticeable if آپ picked up the shirt. I smiled. My baby was in there. I touched it gently then pulled the شرٹ, قمیض down. I leaned my head on hers and called out to Ella-Mae. She walked over, stumbling a little, but she walked. “Come up here.” I کہا and picked her up, and helped her to fit comfortably in my lap. She fell asleep about 20 منٹ later, after playing with the buttons on my shirt. I took off my sweatshirt کے, سویاٹشارٹ and wrapped it around Bella, and snuggled Ella into Bella’s shoulders. I pulled my legs on the سوفی, لٹانا and closed my eyes.
“JAMES!!!” I heard someone yell. My eyes fluttered open, to see Bella against my chest, with my sweatshirt کے, سویاٹشارٹ wrapped around her and Ella-Mae. “Alice?” I asked confused. Sure enough Alice looked up, from on the floor. “Hi big brother.” She said. Jasper was sitting on the chair beside the سوفی, لٹانا with his phone in hand, typing something, lightning fast. Bella was still asleep, but Ella was waking up, slowly. I pulled her onto my lap, and looked at Alice. “Will آپ go get her a snack?” I handed her 2 five dollar bills. “Get James something too, if آپ want.” She smiled at me and nodded walking over to the vending machine. I looked over at Jasper. “Do آپ know what’s going on?” I asked him. He looked over at me. “No, we got here about 2 hours ago. We had to go back to their house to get Em some clothes.” “You guys were all sleeping, out cold.” Ella-Mae woke up fully and slipped down and crawled over to James. I pulled Bella closer, and wrapped the sweatshirt کے, سویاٹشارٹ around both of us. Alice walked back with a pack of poptarts, which she handed to me, and then a bag of Trail Mix, which she handed to Jasper. I opened the pop-tart pack and took one out, and evenly broke it in half, and handed one half to Ella-Mae, who had spotted it. I ate the other half, and saved the other one for Bella, if she didn’t want it, Ella could have it.
“Cullen and Hale?” a black haired nurse wearing plain blue scrubs walked out and called the names up. Alice got up. “Us.” I picked Bella up carefully and asked Jasper to get Ella. I walked back with her, trying to not to make a sound, but even though I wasn’t making any noise, didn’t mean that the woman in labor weren’t یا the husbands who were screaming “PUSH!!” at their wives. Bella shifted and her eyes fluttered open, but she didn’t ask where she was, she kept quiet, and wrapped her arms around my neck and snuggled closer into my chest. I smiled proudly. The nurse then said, “You cannot go in the room yet. Please wait outside.” I then wondered why we were back here. “Why are we back here if we can’t go in?” I asked the black haired nurse. “They’re not ready yet.” She answered. “Can I get آپ anything? A glass of water? A snack?” I کہا no thanks, but Jasper asked for a pack of snack mix. I pulled out the pop-tart and took off a piece of the corner, and handed it to Ella. “Bella, do آپ want this?” I asked her. She nodded as I put her on the ground. I found a chair and let Bella sit on it. She came back with Jasper’s snack mix. “Did they call our mom and dad, and her parents?” I asked. She کہا a simple no. “Thank you.” I took out my iPhone and went through my contacts. Our parents lived in Manhattan, where mom was a clothing designer for stores like Wal-Mart and K-Mart. Dad was a doctor. He had delivered both me and Emmett. Dad was on call for a cancer patient whenever Alice was born, so Dr. Quincy had delivered her.
“Hello, Cullen residence, Esme speaking.” Mom answered the phone. “Mom!!” I said. “Edward? Is this Edward?” “Yes mom, it’s Edward.” I said. “Hi, honey…wait what’s wrong, are آپ in jail again?” She asked. “No!!” I yelled. She wasn’t on speaker, but still. “Then what is it, dear?” “You need to come to West Landen Hospital.” “Why? What happened?” “Nothing…I mean, Rosalie. She’s having the baby!” “Oh! Let me gather your father, and we’ll see آپ there right?” “Yes.” I said. “Bye mom, I love you.” She ‘kissed’ me through the phone and then hung up. Whenever I got off, Alice was calling Rosalie’s parents. Bella looked at me. She looked kind of out of it. “Are آپ all right?” I asked her. She put a hand over her mouth and shook her head. She sprung up and ran to the women’s bathroom. I followed her, not caring it was the women’s bathroom. I walked into the stall where I heard her crying and puking sounds. I sat down beside her and held her hair, as she puked again. When she was done, she wiped her mouth and leaned up against me. “Don’t make me do this alone.” She was crying into my shirt, like before. “I won’t.” “Stay with me, then.” She said. “Stay with me.” Did she just ask me to live in her apartment with her? I said, “Sure….”
That’s whenever my iPhone vibrated.
