Chapter 11- Adventure
I woke up screaming in the middle of the night. Tom was quick to come and make sure I was all right. I assured him I was then stared at the ceiling. I really wasn’t all right. I don’t think it was possible for anyone in this situation to be anywhere near all right. I laid there the remainder of the night, jumping at the slightest noises out یا inside.
The اگلے morning Abigail walked in. “Tom is getting everything ready to get آپ safely transported to Lilly’s,” she told me sitting on the end of the bed. I nodded, looking out the window. “Is there anything I can get آپ to eat یا drink یا anything?” she asked me.
I turned to look at her. “I think something to eat would be all right.” I smiled at her and stood up. I needed to get ready. If I was going to be traveling to Wisconsin سے طرف کی tonight, I would have to be comfortable. I was sure I’d be sleeping the entire time. Even walking a short distance left me breathless. A few منٹ after Abby left, Tom walked in “Good morning,” he smiled. “How are آپ feeling today?”
I laughed, not knowing how to express how I was really feeling in words. “Overwhelmed,” I stated simply.
He continued to smile. “I can imagine, there has been quite a bit going on these past few weeks. You’ve stuck to it though. آپ have amazing courage,”
“Do آپ really think that Tom?” I asked him sitting back down.
“Of course I do,” he told me grabbing one of my hands. He frowned suddenly and I did as well.
“What?” I asked, a tone of panic was seeping slightly into my voice.
“Your hands are freezing... are آپ sick, do آپ feel all right?” he asked looking straight into my eyes with his piercing blue eyes.
“I feel perfectly fine, other than the fear that is defiantly going to take a while to get over,” I sighed. That was the truth. If he didn’t believe me, well then that was his problem.
“Are آپ sure?” He asked, but before I could assure him I was Abby walked in, I assumed she had heard most of our conversation. The walls in this house were very thin and آپ could hear every small movement through the floors. “I’m sure she’s fine Tom. Leave the poor woman alone for two seconds,” she scolded him putting her hands on her hips. A small smile spread across my lips. It was true, I was jealous. Tom and Abby were so happy together, something I’d only truly dreamed about.
Abby turned to me as soon as she کہا that to Tom. “I can bring your food up here if you’d like,” she told me. I nodded.
“That would help,” I smiled. “I still have to get dressed,” I told her eyeing Tom. Abby picked up immediately.
“Tom. Go out so she can get ready,” she told him grabbing his hand. He stood up. “Let us know when you’re ready to leave,” he کہا before exiting with Abby. I stood back up and quickly changed, not feeling nearly as ill as I had before. I sat on the bad and waited for Abby to return with my food. I began to think about how wonderful and full of joy my life could be after I escaped from this place. All my greatest nightmares would disappear, maybe for good. This thought alone brought a smile to my face. Abby walked in a moment later. “You look significantly happier,” she told me as she set down a tray with two slices of warm, freshly made روٹی and a glass of دودھ on it.
“Well, in a way I am,” I chuckled. “There’s just an idea of a totally new beginning and it’s exciting.”
Abby laughed. “That does sound exciting. Like an adventure,” she looked at me.
“Yes. An adventure. And that sounds very inviting right now,” I smiled taking a bite of the bread.
((Hey guys. Sorry this took so long to crank out. I've had school and other stuff going on but... here it is!))

As I was going ہوم I suddenly was hit سے طرف کی the reality that I really was going to be a mother... a mom at last.
A mother wow... I thought to myself. I'm going to be responsible for someone. I shook that thought out of my head quickly, since I had always been a clutz like my mom. I mean what if I accidently hurt my unborn baby, I thought to myself before quickly shaking that thought off too.
It was 6 a.m. and I had just awoken to discover Jacob sitting at the foot of my bed. Jacob... I began- I need to tell آپ something I'm...I'm... Pregnant. "Thats great", he replied to me reaching up to stroke my growing stomach. "How far along are you?", he asks me. "I'm 3 months now Jake but... the baby's not yours.", I tell him... he slaps me and gathers all his things and bolts out the door leaving me to face reality i]alone.[/i]
