Dr. Cullen froze, probably from shock. But oddly he sounded like he stopped breathing...
"Breathe."
He took in a sharp breath and flipped through pages.
"Who else knows?"
Another odd thoing, most people would already assume everyone knew.
"Now you, my friend Angela from school, principal Greene,Cathy the nurse that came in with me, Dr. Smith, and...my mom." I whispered the last part, but I wasnt too sure.
"Only them? No one else?"
"No Dr. Cullen, what if one دن آپ woke up blind? If I told my dad, hewould feel guilty, somehow. I keep the minumum amount of people who know low."
"Why?"

"Sorry I'm asking a lot, Tell me if it is bothering you."
"But now Dr.Cullen I have a request for you. Dont tell anyone please. I dont want any pity, not even yours یا your families. I got to see colors, my دوستوں faces, which is most for anyone who is blind. I want to live as normally as I can."
"I understand Bella I promise not to say anything, though I'd be preaking patient confidentiality if I told someone."
"Oh... Dr. Cullen my dad doesnt even know, my grades are up only because Angela helps me."
"Ok Bella, is that all?"
"Normally Dr.Smith gave me my new contacts. The contacts he gives me are expiramental so they are specially made,they help my eyes from gettin worse. Dr.Smith کہا my blindness is genetic. Which is why I wasnt born blind یا had an accident cause it. He کہا it was my retinas."

"Ok let me go get those new contacts from his office."

He left and I took my contacts and threw them in the trash. My contact case needed a washing so I did that too while I waited, it was kinda weird cause I stumbled alot. My blindness isnt all pitch black I see some. I see light and darkness, but its all blurry, I can see shadows, but if something is right under my eye I can see it better, but its just a shape no defined details no color.

Doctor Cullen came in with my new set of contacts and Cathy drove me back to school. I went to the main office to talk woth Principal Greene.

"Bella, how was the doctors appointment?"

"It went well."

"I got some bad news, for the new kids to fit in I had to اقدام one of your classes, its only for a دن until we get a new setup in the classroom, but I can only put آپ in one class. PE. But its just for a دن and theres a sub."

I took a deep breath. "Okay just for a day."

I walked toward the Gym. I knew where most of everything was because I memorized the school layout.
