Hmm I agree with the majority of you x I think, maybe he's a bit too see through in the movies. I mean, he seems to show his suffering and depression a lot, which he isn't meant to do. He's meant to hide it, so he doesn't depress his family.

I think Rob does a great job acting Edward on screen. We can't really see much of Edward's personality in the movies,though.

in the movies he looks a little disturbing if u no wot i mean. i LOVE the twilight saga but he seems to be more humorous in the books and more happy. maybe coz u get more description. its hard in the movie coz u cant put wot every1 is thinking as easily

Hmm I agree Elzybells, because there are so many different sides to him. The craefree side, the protective one, the self-loathing that he isn't supposed to show (but it slips through sometimes) and obviously his love for Bella and his family. I think he has to lighten up a bit, and it's just putting these different sides into the right moments. He just needs to find a better balance, because I think he seems to hate himself way too much, and he hasn't made a single joke yet right? x Bring on the funny Edward! x

No offence to Robert Pattinson but I just think we miss all the positive sides of Edward in Twilight because they cut out so much interaction between him and Bella.

That is exactly what I was trying to say! We don't see any positive Edward, it's all the down and miserable, worried side of him that doubts everything the future may have in store for them. I know he's pessimistic in the books, but sheesh, lighten up a bit, else you'll get frown lines! :) lol
