Both Caroline and Elena have said to Tyler and Damon that they are ‘friends’.

Both have had some form of lying.
Both Tyler and Damon didn’t think they were good enough for their girls and that their best friend/brother was.
Both Caroline and Elena have told Tyler and Damon that they aren’t friends anymore.
Both should have been in love with Stefan and Matt but can’t help themselves being drawn to Tyler and Damon.

Nope sorry, the situations are completely different, all it really is is they are both triangles! Plus this pick is kinda biased where is the option for someone who doesn't think so and doesn't see your point, not everyone agrees with each other!

I think they have SOME similarities, but more than anything I think it is more the TCM love triangle is very similar to the DES triangle, but I do see some things in common with TC and DE. But not a whole lot.

the different is that karoline olways lets tayler kiss her when elena dont let damon, and karoline has a feelings for tayler when elena has no feeling for damon ,and in my opinion just the girls are difirent ,and i love caroline caus she can see tylers love when elena doesnt see the huge love of damon; just iwant to bite her caus she makes damon poor
