*Kaname POV*
I am only two years old at this time. My mother, Juri Kuran, is giving birth to our family's only daughter, while my father is happily awaiting the birth of her as well. I am under my parents wishes to sit inside of the hallway until Haruka asks for me. I really have no right to call him "father" یا Juri "mother", because they aren't my parents. I am actually the Kuran Ancestor. . .the man that created this family. But glimpses of my past are a dim blur, nothing but mear hazes rising and falling over them each night. Suddenly, shrill cries and screams shake me from my thoughts, and I find myself running at full speed towards the small room where Juri and Haruka are in. I don't knock, nor wait for them to recognize my presence, I just barge in. Terror sprange in my eyes as Juri lay still on the bed, Haruka سے طرف کی her side, gently playing with a strand of her curly hair. "Haruka..." I whisper, the room quite and filled with the scent of her blood. He looked at me, that same fatherly tenderness that always greeted me. "Kaname. Come see your sister." he smiled. Juri turned back to me, sweat poured from her face and onto her white nightgown. The small گلابی laced bundle she held in her arms tightly against her chest. "Kaname." she giggled, handing the bundle to me. "Meet Yuuki. She is your younger sister. Take care of her for me, okay while Haruka helps me tend to this mess." I obeyed her and walked outside in the hallway and into the living room. I sat down on the plush سوفی, لٹانا and gently rocked the small girl in my arms. That is when my eyes were suddenly drawn to her face. Her small eyes were closed in a peaceful sleep. Her skin was soft and rosy as a spring rose bloomed. She had a small amount of silky auburn hair that came just above her eyes. That's when they opened. Something within me froze at that gaze. That gaze that had mine tightly held onto hers. A smile blossomed from her plush lips and a small hand reached to my face. A spark of electricity ran throughout my body and shook each part of my body. 'Why am I alive?' i would think in the middle of my thoughts. 'Because. . .the proof is right before you. . .your most beloved has returned to you. . .love will outlast death.'
