“Time for a trip, little lady,” he کہا smirking.
He took a step forward, grabbed my arm and opened my window. He smiled at me with his blood covered teeth, then we were out of the window, sailing through the night sky.
I’d always enjoyed the sensation of flying. That’s the only good thing about vampires.
He looked back at me as we rode the sky, and saw how peaceful I was in the air. It annoyed him, I could tell. That’s probably why he dropped me.
The wind whipped at my hair and face as I fell through the trees, branches slapping me in the face. I landed on my feet in a cat-like position, and looked around at my surroundings. I was in the woods behind my house. Great.
I heard the vampire land softly in front of me, and he stared a little dumbstruck at me. Then, he walked up to me and threw me onto the muddy floor. I looked up at him, unafraid to دکھائیں my hatred for this animal and all of his kind.
He licked his teeth and lips dry, and stared at my wrist where he had bitten me. Then paced back a few metres یا so.
“You know, it’s a shame to kill such a delicate human. آپ would have made quite a vampire if only you’d let Oliver change you.”
I slowly got up from the floor, my stake hidden in my back pocket. “I’d rather kill myself than become one of you!” I spat.
He came towards me like a bullet, and shoved me against a tree. Not exactly the most comfy thing in the world if I’m honest with you.
His arm was over my chest, his hand pushing my head sideways. His other hand was restraining one of my own hands.
He stared at my neck, hypnotised سے طرف کی the veins on it, pumping his life juice. “I could make آپ immortal. آپ wouldn’t have the trouble of having vampires like me after آپ anymore, because you’d be one of us!” he whispered, مزید to himself than to me.
“You disgust me!” I shouted in his ear.
“You should have killed me when آپ had the chance,” he chuckled softly into my ear.
I saw his teeth extending to their full length again, and his eyes were hovering over a spot on my neck where the veins were closer to the skin. He slowly brought his head down until I could feel the tips of his fangs touching my soft skin.
In a سیکنڈ یا so, they’d be puncturing it like it was nothing مزید than a peach, and sucking out all my blood. Then no doubt he’d probably rip my throat out.
Yummy.
Suddenly, as I felt pressure coming down onto my neck, there was a rustle in the درخت that we were leaning against. We both looked up simultaneously.
It was too much of a racket to be a bird یا anything, and it startled us both.
He was still looking up when I glanced at his face. I gripped my stake in my free hand and brought my arm up.
“You should have killed me when آپ had the chance!” I hissed and drove the stake directly into his heart.
He glared at me, his eyes wide with pain and anger. Then his grip on me loosened. Both his hands were wrapped around the handle of my personalised stake now. He staggered backwards, still glaring at me, as if he didn’t know what to do. Then, as if he was never there, his body faded into dust, and the draft spread it over the ground.
“Vermin,” I spat at the piles of dust, when I went to retrieve my stake.
I wiped the blood from the stake onto my سکرٹ, گھیرنا and looked around into the woods.
“Crap,” I muttered under my breath.
I had no idea which way to go.
Without warning, my legs seemed to turn into جیلی and I fell to the floor under the درخت I’d nearly been killed on. I looked at my wrist for the first time, and noticed that blood was still seeping from where he’d bitten me. I sighed. I felt myself getting weaker and weaker. I curled up in a ball on the floor, and felt my eye lids getting heavier.
I was too tired to be alarmed at the sudden soft thump beside my head when something landed there. I peered up at what it was groggily. Well, not what it was. Who is was.
A boy, about my age, crouching beside me. My vision went blurry so I couldn’t see what he looked like, but I knew I didn’t recognise him.
“You’ve lost too much blood,” I heard him say in a sexy, silky voice.
“Well noted,” I کہا sarcastically.
Through the blur, I could see a smile spread across his face. Then, I felt his arms going around me, and lifting me up. I closed my eyes, feeling محفوظ in his strong grip.

I woke up to find myself back محفوظ in my bedroom, with the lights out. It was still dark outside, and I saw someone standing at the open window, readying themselves for a leave.
“Wait!” I said, struggling to sit up.
He turned his head round to look at me. I didn’t know who he was, but I knew he was a vampire.
“Oh. You’re one of them,” I کہا simply.
He turned and nodded slowly.
“Yes.”
“You saved me, didn’t you?” I asked, managing to sit up.
“Not exactly,” he کہا sheepishly. “I just brought آپ back. You’d have died if I didn’t.”
I stayed quiet for a while, and so did he.
“Let me look at you.”
He hesitated for a while, then stepped into the moonlight streaming in through the window.
I gasped a little. He was quite tall, and very well built. He was wearing nothing but a pair of jeans. His stomach abs were shaped beautifully, and so was the rest of his body. The light streamed off him angelically.
His thick, black hair flopped slightly over his eyes, and within this certain light, he looked like the sort of guy آپ see in movies, یا read about in stupid lovey-dovey books. Minus the fact that his feet were dirty from not wearing any shoes.
“Why did آپ save me?” I asked, choking out the words.
He shrugged a little. “I couldn’t let آپ die,” he کہا in his silky voice.
I got up from the بستر and slowly walked towards him. I stood in front of him, and reached my hand up to his head. I gently lifted the hair from his face to reveal his eyes.
I gasped, and stood there staring at him.
“I’ve never seen anything like them before!” I breathed, still gazing into his glossy purple eyes.
He bent his head in embarrassment.
“I’m sorry,” I said. “They’re just so… beautiful.”
He looked at me, then turned to the window again.
“Thank آپ for saving me,” I whispered as he flew into the darkness.

Before running out the door the اگلے morning, I popped my head into the باورچی خانے, باورچی خانہ to goodbye to Kayla. Who should be at work سے طرف کی now.
“Where the hell did آپ go last night?!” she exploded when she saw me. “Poor Freddie was stood here for an گھنٹہ waiting for you!”
“Well, I’m sorry but vampires don’t exactly care if آپ have plans یا not,” I کہا softly, rolling my eyes.
“Couldn’t آپ just stab him and get it over with?”
“Nope,” I کہا holding up my bandaged arm, which my mysterious saviour had done while I was asleep. “This one was a bit of a trouble maker.”
“Well, آپ most likely brought it on yourself,” she کہا ushering me out of the house. “Now get gone, you’re already late.”
I laughed at her. “Go to work, Kayla.”
She spat her tongue out at me as I opened the front door. I pulled a stupid face back, then started for school.

سے طرف کی the time I’d gotten there, id already missed the first two periods, and it was nearly the end of morning break. I wandered through the school gates, pretending not to care.
Actually, I didn’t care. At all.
Once again, as I looked around, I noticed the gaze of everyone on me. Although they didn’t stare for as long this time. It was مزید of a ‘hey, she’s old news now’ sort of glance.
I smiled to myself.
“Aw, Blaze! آپ missed maths!” someone کہا behind me, laughing.
I turned around to see Harry walking up to me with a big grin. I looked behind him and noticed a big group of football players following him.
“Um, yeah. I slept in,” I laughed nervously.
Within the advancing group, I noticed Freddie’s blonde hair. He rushed towards me and wrapped his big arms around me, squeezing me in his embrace. There were بھیڑیا whistles and shouts behind us, but I couldn’t have cared less. It just felt so nice being held سے طرف کی him.
“I thought آپ were dead!” he whispered, hugging me harder.
“I am so, so sorry!” I whispered back. “I just went for a walk in the woods behind my house, and then I got lost, and… I’m just so sorry!”
He laughed into my hair. “I don’t care as long as you’re ok.”
He put me at arms length. “You are ok aren’t you?”
“Yeah, of course I am.”
He glanced down at my bandaged arm. “No you’re not. What happened?” he said, holding my arm gently so he could inspect the bandages.
“I, um, fell in the wood. Caught it on a branch,” I lied, smiling.
Lying came easily to me. I guess it helped that id had nine years practice. I mean, its not as if آپ can tell people that آپ go out and hunt vampires for a living can you?
Freddie laughed again, then kissed my forehead. It was the smallest of kisses, but it was the first time that his lips had made contact with my skin. Ever.
I grinned as the بھیڑیا whistling and shouts got slightly louder behind us.     I looked up at him with a silly smile on my face, and noticed he was chuckling a little.
“Come on,” he کہا draping his arm over my shoulders. “Lets get to class.”

“Look,” he whispered into my ear. “A shooting star. Make a wish, Piper.”
I squeezed my eyes shut and wished. Wished that this moment would never end. Wished that everything would be ok. Wished that I could finally be happy.
I wished so hard it made my head hurt. Freddie chuckled beside me. I glanced up at him, and smiled.
We were laying on the گھاس in the park, just looking up at the starry sky.
He forced me to come out with him to make up for our missed تاریخ last night.
I moved my head onto his chest, and curled up against him, and he kissed the سب, سب سے اوپر of my head. I smiled to myself, and started to shiver with happiness.
Freddie sat up, and hung his جیکٹ over my shoulders, then he started to hug me.
“This is nice,” he کہا softly, into my hair.
“I know,” I smiled, looking up at him.
He smiled back, and started to twirl my fiery red hair around his fingers. He came across something that made him straighten up a little.
“What’s this?” he asked, fingering a small lump on the back of my head.
I laughed. “Some sucker threw a football at my head, that’s what!”
“Oh,” he blushed. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean for it to hurt you.”
I laughed again. “Oh, so آپ meant for it to hit me?”
He hugged me harder and spoke softly. “If آپ must know, yes. I did.”
I pulled away from him to look at him in the eyes. “What?”
He blushed again, and looked down a little, avoiding my eyes. “Well, I saw آپ walk into school yesterday and I just thought ‘Wow… I need to get to know her.” He کہا chuckling. “You looked amazing, Blaze. I cant believe I never noticed it before. And well… I just wanted your attention,” he added quietly.
“You always had my attention, Freddie,” I whispered, gazing at him.
He looked at me intently, and placed one of his hands under my chin, lifting my head slightly. Then he brought his lips down onto mine, and just like that we were kissing.
I felt his weight coming down onto me, pushing me onto the grass. I rand my hands through his hair as he laid on سب, سب سے اوپر of me.
He started to kiss me deeper, and I felt his urge to taste me. I could feel his tongue, softly pressing against my lips, begging for entry, which I happily obliged. I felt him exploring my mouth like he’d never tasted anything like it before.
Then, after what seemed like hours, he slowly pulled away from me, and collapsed onto the گھاس beside me. His breath came out rugged, like my own, which sounded like I’d just run a marathon.
We turned to look at each other, and a smile spread across his face.
“Never thought آپ had it in you, Piper,” he said, his voice as uneven as his breathing.
I laughed. “Right back atcha’ Jones,” I کہا with a wink.
Then, he put his arm around me, and I rested my head on his chest again, listening to his دل beating. We stared at the night sky, and I hoped that this bubble of happiness I was floating in would never pop on me.

I hadn’t thought about my vampire saviour all دن until Freddie walked me to my front door that night. As we کہا our goodbyes at the door, I felt the presence of something inhuman in the area, watching our every move.
Freddie kissed me again, but it wasn’t as hungry as the first one. He held me close to him, as if somehow he was protecting me. From what, I don’t know.
Maybe he sensed what I did?
I smiled as he kissed me again. Like he’d be able to protect me from anything, he’s just an ignorant guy, unaware of the deadly things surrounding him. Like most humans, I guess.
Some believe, some avoid the truth. Some know nothing about it at all. Some, want to become vampires. And some, the normal people, choose to hunt them down and kill the freaks of nature.
Just the cycle of life.
Freddie squeezed me a little, before turning around and walking home. I watched him as he went down my path, and out onto the street. I watched him until I couldn’t see him anymore, and even then, I stood there, waiting.
I could still sense that there was something out there in the darkness watching me. It was then, that the mysterious vampire that had saved me, returned to my head.
It was probably him. I didn’t know what he wanted. He obviously didn’t want me dead, یا he’d have just let me die out in the woods instead of saving me.
So, what did he want from me, exactly?
I shook the thoughts of vampires out of my mind, and smiled into the darkness.
“Goodnight,” I whispered so quietly, that only a vampire would have been able to hear it.
Then, I turned around and went inside.

Me and Freddie were inseparable for the اگلے few days of school. He was outside my house on a morning, so we could walk to school together. We stayed together through any lessons we were in together, and any lessons he was in something different to me, I had the rest of the football team to take care of me.
I think, سے طرف کی half an گھنٹہ into Wednesday morning, every student at Bluebill High was aware that me and Freddie were now officially an item. Everywhere I went with him, I could feel the jealous stare of girls on me. I couldn’t exactly blame them though. He is irresistibly good looking, probably the best looking guy in the entire school. And the most thoughtful.
It felt right being tucked under his arm, and the way his lips touched mine.
Everyday, Freddie walked me all the way home, kissed me at the door, then went home.
When he kissed me on Friday, I felt weird. I knew there was someone unwanted in the house.
I rushed in without saying hi to Kayla and rushed up to my bedroom. I glanced around the room. Nothing was out of place, except that the window was wide open.
I rolled my eyes and went over to close it. When I had it firmly closed, I looked out it, into the woods, and I could feel his presence.
Him, which I had at one point loved, adored even, feared, and now, strongly disliked.
I slowly turned around to find him lounging on my bed.
“I see Claw left his mark on you,” he said, noticing the bandage on my left wrist.
I looked down at it myself. It was a clean bandage, as it was everyday. Somehow every دن I woke up with a fresh one neatly wrapped around my arm.
I looked back at Oliver. His eyes, which were long پہلے baby blue like my own, were now a bottomless black. His burning red hair was still similar to mine, only his was tousled from the wind. His handsomely shaped face smiled up at me.
He didn’t look a دن older than when I last saw him, just a lot healthier.
“Claw?” I smirked. “Nice name.”
He shrugged.
“Nice to see you,” I کہا leaning against my wall. “It’s been a while.”
He shrugged his big shoulders at me again. “Been busy.”
I کہا nothing. I had never enjoyed the visits from my brother.
“So,” he said, rising from my بستر in one quick effortless motion, and wandering around my room. “I heard Claw ruined your تاریخ with Freddie Jones!” he laughed.
I shrugged carelessly. “It did. But everything’s fine now.”
Oliver turned to look at me. “So آپ did… this” he کہا gesturing at my body. “Just so he’d finally notice you?”
I rolled my eyes. “Look, what do آپ want?”
“Wow, how long have آپ liked him?” he laughed, ignoring me. “It has to be about eleven years now isn’t it?”
“More یا less. آپ know, when آپ were human.”
He snapped his head round to glare at me. I returned it with a sweet smile.
“Look, little sister, I’ve let آپ have your fun for god knows how long now, but this serious now,” he کہا as he advanced on me and grabbed my collar. “People are starting to find out about my little vampire slayer sister, and its not doing any good for my reputation!” he snarled. “So, I’m letting آپ off with a warning, Blaze. Stop this stupid game, یا I’m going to have to stop you.”
I burst out with laughter. “What?! You’ve been trying to kill me ever since I staked that ugly چوہا that took آپ away from me!”
He winced a little. “Blaze, why wont آپ understand? He wasn’t just some rat! He was the best thing that ever happened to me. I was nothing as a human. Nothing!” He shouted, angrily.
I backed away from him. Oliver wasn’t one to lose his temper.
“Don’t آپ see?! As a vampire, nothing can get in my way! If it wasn’t for him I’d be the prey, not the predator,” he paced away from me. “You took that away from me, Blaze. Not a good idea. A mistake. A big one.”
“You weren’t nothing as a human,” I کہا softly. “You were my brother.”
He ignored me. “You were a great brother,” I کہا louder. “You don’t realise how much it hurt to see آپ get taken away like that Oliver. And then to have mum and dad killed days after. سے طرف کی your vampire friends! What did آپ expect! I had nothing to live for, Oliver.”
He looked at me, his eyes filled with anger. “You’d be twenty-three now. Probably at university, learning how to become a teacher. That was what آپ always wanted, wasn’t it?” I کہا emotionless.
He ran up to me again and shoved me against the wall, one of his hands enclosing around my neck.
I didn’t care, I carried on. “You’d be making something of yourself, instead of being stuck in a fourteen-year olds body.”
“Shut up!” he screamed. “Just shut the hell up!”
I felt his grip on my neck getting tighter.
“Go on,” I کہا softly. “Do it. Kill me.”
I saw a flicker of something in his black eyes, but nothing else happened.
I smiled. “You cant, can you?” I asked.
Nothing happened, he just kept staring at me.
“Admit it, Oliver. That’s why آپ keep sending these stupid hit men vampires after me to do the job. آپ can’t kill your baby sister!” I laughed.
He glared at me, silently, then let go of me, and paced back again.
“You cant do it, can آپ Oliver? آپ cant kill me, because آپ love me!” I کہا following him. “You still love your little human sister!”
He screamed in anger. “Just shut the hell up, Blaze!”
He thought for a second, then I noticed a smile creeping upon his face. “I can kill you, and I will. But first, I’m going to make آپ suffer.” He walked back and faced me. “One سے طرف کی one, I’m going to kill all your little friends.”
At that moment, Kayla burst into the room. She stopped abruptly when she saw Oliver standing there. He glanced round at her, to see who it was, then he looked back at me.
“I’ll be seeing you, Blaze,” he کہا with a wink.
Then he turned away from me and walked over to Kayla. He nodded briefly at her as he went by, and out of my bedroom door.
Me and Kayla waited in silence, until we heard the bang of the front door. When I was sure he’d gone, I sunk down into my بستر and cried.
I wasn’t sure if Oliver was capable of killing me, but I knew he was capable of killing anyone else. He’d kill Kayla. And Freddie.
“Oh, god!” I burst into a new set of tears, as Kayla cradled me in her arms, trying to comfort me.

Present

I blinked as I returned to the present. Jackson and Lenete were staring at me and I soon realised that they had just watched my flash back with me probably due to the fact I didn’t answer their questions; I smiled a weak smile at them.
“It’s okay Daisi, nothing is going to happen” Lenete whispered as she hugged me.
I rolled my eye’s at Jackson as she hugged me and I was instantly lost in his purple eyes.
“Daisi Rose Hethford!” Lenete all but screeched at me a منٹ later.
I snapped out of Jackson’s eyes again for the سیکنڈ time this morning and stared at Lenete as everyone...

Chapter 10- Erika
“Can آپ hand me the gauze, Edi?” Colleen asked as she doctored my arm. Erika had leaped at me, teeth barred. Stefan had knocked her out of the way, a سیکنڈ too late. She reached past him and clawed the holy hell out of my poor arm. Apparently, she thought that Stefan was in love with her because he turned her. How stupid. So, she hated me because I was “stealing” Stefan away from her. Oh well, he loved me and there was nothing she could do about it.
The feeling of Colleen tugging a needle through my arm pulled me from my reverie. For the first...

Normal

Everyone so far believed my story about my wrist and the few cuts and bruises left on my skin, people ask minimal سوالات and Jackson یا Lenete always told me when someone didn’t believe my story یا thought that Jackson was bashing me.
“I’m going to see mum this afternoon, if that’s okay with آپ two” I stated to Lenete and Jackson as the گھنٹی, بیل for the end of lunch went off.
“Dis we won’t keep آپ from seeing your mum, آپ know that” Lenete کہا flicking my ear gently and laughing
“Do آپ want me to come with you?”
“If آپ want to I’m just getting the last of my...

Zombies have no real mythos یا history. Most zombie stories are merely metaphors for issues that at the time can't be discussed head on due to the مقبول opinion of the time. George Romero's Living Dead فلمیں are prime example of that. His فلمیں really weren't about the living dead but مزید to do about messages concerning racism to consumerism. Only after the success of those movies, did zombies become مقبول in our culture and zombie فلمیں were made just for the sake of making a zombie movie. But that means if such فلمیں are based on these metaphor movies, then in a way they're echoing...
