It was all calm in the zoo, no problems anywhere whatsoever, everyone was fine. The penguins were in the HQ, doing their own little things. It was usually like this when they were done doing their training outside, and entertaining the zoo crowd that would stand at the fence, waiting for the penguins to entertain them with a smile-and-wave routine. Skipper looked over his team, and smiled knowing that it was the best team that he could of ever had. He was proud. He thought everyone on the team was normal, and happy. Why wouldn't they be happy? They got treated fairly, was fed, had all the needs to live, who wouldn't be happy? Skipper took a sip of coffee and smiled, looking at the clock. "Time to hit the bunks" he announced. "10 مزید minutes, please Skippah'!" Private pleaded. Skipper chuckled, looking at the young penguin. "Maybe tomorrow, soldier" Skipper pointed to the bunks. He watched as his team each hopped in their own bunks, getting comfortable before Skipper shut off the lights. "Goodnight, soldiers" he hopped in his bunk, and drifted off to sleep. Victoria gasped, tossed, turned, clutched her تکیا roughly, tears ran down her cheeks, and she almost screamed. She was having a nightmare, one that she hoped would never happen, ever. Skipper woke up, hearing the sniffling, and gasps. He hopped out of his bunk, worried and quickly looked over the bunks, then noticed Victoria burying her face in her pillow, shaking. He put a flipper on her, hoping to not startle her. "Vic, wake up" he shook her lightly, noticing her slowly lift her head from her pillow, which was filled with her tears. She slipped out of her bunk, but was caught سے طرف کی Skipper, and he set her on her feet. "What's the matter?" He looked concerned. She didn't know she was crying, she was embarrassed. "I just had a nightmare, that's all...." she کہا lowly, wiping her tears away. "What was it about...?" Skipper asked, curious. Victoria shook her head "I don't want to talk about it..." she hopped back in her bunk, and stared at the concrete دیوار in front of her. Skipper sighed, hopping back in his bunk. He wanted to know what that nightmare was, it had to of been terrible. Morning came, Skipper was late, he didn't wake up early like how he normally did to wake the team up for morning exercises. Hours passed, it was 8:00 now, Skipper finally woke up, then looked at the time. "Overslept..?" He کہا to himself, then looked over the bunks. He sighed "Today will be a free day". "Alright team, it's morning" Skipper said, waking his team up. Each hopped out of their bunks. Skipper looked over the team, noticing all except for one were bright eyed and bushy tailed. "Victoria, are آپ alright?" he asked. "I couldn't sleep after آپ woke me up last night sir... I stayed up all night" she said, yawning. "Try getting some sleep tonight then..." he pointed a flipper at her, and nodded. Victoria remembered her nightmare too well, it was a nightmare that could change her whole life, her perspective of life, and others' lives, and seeing others different. She didn't know it would've changed how she acted, felt around others, her emotions, and the thoughts that ran through her mind. She'd usually have good thoughts, unless she was around someone she didn't like, but when she looked at a fellow teammate, the thoughts would change negatively.
