i did, and i want to go again SOOO badly O,O

I went to America for my family holiday in 2004 (a few days in New York, a few days in Miami, and almost two whole weeks in Disneyworld).

The day we travelled from Miami to Orlando was really stressful. We got lost a lot of times and almost ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere at one point, and this was before the day of sat navs. It was midnight by the time we got to Disney, but even after all that stress I remember just being so excited! All the staff members were so lovely and welcoming - I especially remember the receptionist at our hotel (his name was Geoffrey). He was really helpful and got us sorted immediately.

My mum's often said that the moment she remembers is during this time I excitedly told Geoffrey, "I've been wanting to come here my whole life!" at which point she decided that the stressful journey there had finally been worth it, haha. We had a lovely time there. We actually ended up having to stay a few days more than we were supposed to because Hurricane Frances came along when we were meant to be flying back to England. I don't remember ever feeling unsafe during that time either. If you have to get stuck in a hurricane, might as well do it at Disneyworld. XD
