Could The Morlocks Pop Up In Future X-Men Movies?

. What do all of these characters have in common? They�re Morlocks, a large community of mutants who, in the comics, escaped to live in tunnels beneath New York City when rejected by society. With more of them popping up in the X-Men cinematic universe, could this underground-dwelling people be the focus of a future film?

Could be. I think that the reality is that, with the X-Men, I think you�re always gonna be dealing to some degree with stories that are gonna be � you can see, correctly, as family stories. That just seems right to us. And the Morlocks are one of the biggest families of this universe.�

Out of these characters, Caliban is the most appropriate to include in

. The albino mutant with the ability to psychically sense other mutants around him served the title villain in the comics in exchange for more powerful abilities. However, no one wanted to reveal much about what role he has to play in the film.�

Shooting Caliban\'s place of "business" #Xmen #XMenApocalypse

In a brief moment in the first trailer, we see a hooded Apocalypse approach Caliban with Storm by his side. Elsewhere, director Bryan Singer posted a behind-the-scenes image on Instagram to offer a peek inside the character�s place of "business" (shown above). Producer Hutch Parker said:

I�m gonna be very vague on that. He does play a role, and I think he�s kind of [a] delicious role. But, as to the Horsemen and how that works, I�m not gonna go into that too much other than to say we�ve made some of our own choices in that regard that just for the sake of tying it more intimately to our narrative and to our essential players and our families, for lack of a better way of putting it.
