Kyra passed سے طرف کی the remnants of the cave, and glanced back at Demon, who was fingering the blade of her katana. “You can’t be serious.”
“I’m dead serious.”
“But the cave was our home!”
“Then آپ can remain here and make sure it’s real. But I’m not joking with you. This is what happens to you-- to us all in a couple years.”
She walked straight into the dead middle of it all and sat, the news pressing down on her like an unbearable weight. Tears stung at the edges of her eyes but she didn’t cry, instead leaning over to pick up a piece of broken plastic. “Souvenir,” she muttered, then turned to the elder version of herself. “Why am I here?”

Demon didn’t reply right away, nor did she notice Fin asking her the actual question. She was too lost in her own memories, too busy worrying about Wally’s statement to Nightwing. Kaldur very well could be a triple agent. The way he was so focused and intent on getting in with the Light... perhaps he had finally succumbed to what his father had been telling him was right all along.
She’d done that too, before.
But that idiotic, bossy, overprotective and way too formal fishboy... she missed him, she really did. She missed the way he’d smile at her in a brotherly way when she’d done something correctly. During the failsafe, she’d felt so lost, even with Robin there... Kaldur had helped her on the right path from the very beginning. He was one of Kenzie’s پسندیدہ people, besides her. Maybe she could help him.
Kyra stepped closer and snapped. “Demon!!”
The elder girl glanced at her. “C’mon.”

A victory against the entire league... Kyra, the littler one, should have been celebrating right now with Aisling, Blade, Melissa... Delta. And Epsilon. God, why had she done this to the poor kid? Demon shook her head, and turned from Kyra. “We’ve gotta move...” she hissed, and walked off, not taking a سیکنڈ look at her old home.

Trekking up behind Demon, Kyra چرا لیا, چوری کی glances at the ruined cave, watching the steam that seemed never ending trail up from the rubble. She continued staring at it unbelievably, not noticing when Demon stopped, and she ran straight into her. “Um.. ow. Warn me اگلے time?”
“Maybe آپ should pay attention, then.” Demon hissed out.
“Maybe I’ll just go back home!”
Demon sighed, and turned to face Kyra. “I’m sorry. I really, really need your help.”
The younger girl looked at her warily, then glanced at her feet. “Then I can go back?”
There was a harmonized sadness in the young teen’s voice that hit Demon with guilt. She bit back tears. “Yes.. but we’re going to have to get آپ changed. آپ cannot run around in that.. people think I’m dead here.”
“So I’m a tool to you?”
“No. You’re... you’re مزید a necessity.”

Kyra watched Demon as she confronted Tigress, who she’d been told was Artemis. There was a menacing way in which the 18-year-old did it, but it was still friendly. Then Kaldur walked up, and started arguing with Demon, and it turned into a two against one fight. Kyra didn’t actually believe that the two undercover heroes actually knew that Demon was who she was. Demon eventually just pulled a katana out and threatened the two of them, and they turned away in disgust.
“Are آپ sure they know?”
Demon tried not to yelp in surprise. “Yes, yes they know,” she lied, her voice not wavering once.
“And you’ll explain this to me tomorrow, right?”
“Yes.”
But there wouldn’t be a tomorrow. When Kyra fell asleep that night, Demon snuck into her room and ripped off the medallion that kept the younger girl in this time. Not once had she told the truth since she died. She just hoped that دکھانا as much to the past would affect the present. Perhaps then she’d be able to continue on سب, سب سے اوپر of her world.

“Are we in position, Draxx?” Revenge whispered.
“Yes. All positions secure.”
“Excellent.”
“Are آپ sure Grant won’t mind us doing this?” Draxx asked. “I mean this is his company.”
“What Grant doesn’t know, won’t hurt him.”
“That’s usually not true.”
Red Revenge laughed.
It took almost two hours for the assassin to appear. She slipped stealthily among the shadows.
“Target spotted.” Revenge said, picking up his gun and aiming it squarely at the feminine figure.
“On your signal.” Draxx radioed over.
Revenge aimed the sights, lined up the crosshairs, and pulled the trigger. The assassin began to scale the building.
“Now.” Revenge said, leaping from the roof of his company at the same minute.
