Scarlet watched as the three villains circled her, waiting for one to make their move. They had captured her and brought her to a dark building. Masquerade took a step آگے and Scarlet lit her hands on fire, suddenly feeling dizzy. Masquerade smirked knowing that and his two partners had finally worn out the firecaster. Kitsune took advantage of her weakness and grabbed her hands pinning them behind her back. Masquerade slowly aproached placing his hand on Scarlet's forehead while chanting a strange spell.

"Welcome to the world of illusions Ember"

She sank down to her knees, her eyes were hazed over from Masquerade's illusion. Nothing mattered now as memories of the past filled her mind, memories of guilt and pain. As Scarlet clutched her head tears began to fall from her eyes, she wanted this to stop, for these memories to fade away and disappear. Masquerade and his two accomplises laughed circling Scarlet, enjoying the pain they were causing her.

Scarlet looked up but everything looked different, she was no longer in a dark building surrounded سے طرف کی her enemies. She was in her old town park, the same place she killed her mother and her first four friends. She could only watch as the horrors replayed in her mind, just as clear as they'd been so many years ago. Scarlet watched as the flames rose and the smell of burning plants and flesh filled her nose. The scene quickly changed and the screams of pain from her past diappeared. She looked around and she saw Keith and her father standing in front of her. She looked up at them with a pleading look in her eyes.

"Dad, Keith please آپ have to hel-"

"You killed our mother Scar, why should we help آپ when آپ deserve to die"

Scarlet stared up at her little brother, she felt shocked and hurt سے طرف کی what he had said, but another part of her told her what he کہا was true. Everything began to fade and the image of the dark building and Masquerade, Kuro Tenshi and Kitsune came back as she passed out

"Wakey wakey little kitsune"

Scarlet's eyes fluttered open and she looked up to see Kitsune staring down at her a smirk plastered on his face. She shot up putting as much distance between her and the boy as she could. She watched as the other two villains came to stand in front of her.

"So the past that آپ hid from people, was that آپ killed your poor mother and your friends" sneered Masquerade "That's quite the secret آپ have there, what would your little دوستوں think of آپ if آپ told them"

Scarlet lit her hands on آگ کے, آگ throwing fireballs at the three villains as they laughed and avoided her attacks. She threw مزید fireballs at them, smirking as the occasional fireball hit one of the three boys.

"Looks like we hit a soft spot with that one" snickered Kitsune

"But I've got a better one" کہا Kuro "Hey Scar, what would your little boyfriend Danny think of what آپ did"

Scar stopped throwing fireballs for a سیکنڈ as pain flickered in her eyes. She didn't know what his reaction would be and part of her didn't want to know.

"It was an accident, I had no control over my powers" Scar spat angrily throwing fireballs once again. This time the three villains attacked her back and Scarlet was forced to put up a barrier. She winced as the three villains relentlessly threw attacks at her barrier, but finallly they broke through. Scarlet lit her hands on آگ کے, آگ again only to have the flames disappear as she coughed up blood.

"Someone's reached their limit" teased Masquerade as he stood behind the Scarlet who was now on her hands and knees. Scarlet flinched as Masquerade grabbed her chin forcing her to look at him. She gave him a defiant look and he smirked.

"Time to die" he whispered in her ear as he jabbed a dagger through her chest. Scarlet's scream was muffled سے طرف کی the blood in her throat as Masquerade let go of her face and she fell to the floor.

"Say hello to your mother for me"

That was the last thing she heard before her vision faded to black.
