The duo had advanced little in the past twenty minutes. It seemed every other footstep, guards would appear and they would have to take them out quietly and hide the bodies(which Wally naturally interjected to each time).
"Why must we do this?" Wally asked as they hauled the two guards toward a closet.
"Proper grammar, an improvement." Artemis said, tossing her body in the closet.
Wally rolled his eyes and tossed his in after hers. "Why can't I just run in at super speed and grab your mom and we'll be out."
"Because I've got a score to settle." Artemis said.
"Ooh! Angry face!" Wally said, pretending to be scared.
"Oh shut up!" Artemis said.

"Y-" Wally was cut off سے طرف کی the sound of chatter. Artemis shoved him into the shadows. A group of guards walked past.

Artemis realized her hand was still on his chest from where she had shoved him earlier. She quickly removed it.

"We should be at the children's location soon." Martian Manhunter said.
"Good," Superman said.
"Uh, guys?" the Flash asked over their comm.
"Yeah, Barry?" Superman asked.
"There are a bunch of people running and screaming from somethin- yikes!"
"What? What is it?"
"You're not going to believe this."
"Try me." Superman said.
"A dragon. A real dragon."
"That sounds a little far fetched, even for-"
At that moment, Superman had to dive aside to avoid a blast of fire.
"See?" Flash asked.
"We're on our way." Superman said.

The black clad assassin continued his approach. Revenge punched him in the throat, crushing his windpipe, causing the man to stumble backwards.
"You wanna play with knives?" Revenge yelled. "Two can play at that game!"
For a second, the assassin couldn't breathe. Then, he stood up, rubbing his neck.
"No way." Revenge muttered, stepping back.
"Red Revenge. For interfering with the mission, آپ too shall feel the talons of the Court of Owls!"
