Prologue-
ہولی broke away from her kiss with Sam at the sound of the voice over her comm unit.
"Be right there." she said.
She looked at Sam and could tell immediately something bothered him.
"What?" she asked. "What is it?"
"Nothing," Sam کہا after a moment.
"Something is wrong." ہولی said, looking in Sam's blue eyes.
"It's nothing." Sam said.
"Uh-huh" ہولی replied unbelievingly.
Sam went for his mask, but ہولی caught his wrist. "Oh no آپ don't." she said. "Sam talks to me before Revenge leaves."
Sam sighed. "You'll know when آپ get there. I hoped it wouldn't come to this." he slid on his mask and left.
Artemis raised an eyebrow as he exited Holly's room, but he waved her out of his mind.
"Recognized, Red Revenge. B-13." the computer rang out.
"Wait! Where are آپ going?" ہولی asked.
"Home." Revenge replied as he zeta beamed out of the cave.
ہولی walked over to the zeta-beam transporter and typed in something before stepping into the tube.
"Recognized, Courage. B-12" the computer rang out. A moment later, ہولی was on the Watchtower. She walked down the metal hallways. The view from the space station was amazing. Unfortunately, she couldn't worry about that right now. The Justice League had asked for her personally, and she had to get to the briefing room.
When she walked in, she was totally in awe. Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Martian Manhunter, Hawkman and Hawkwoman, Green Lantern, Green Arrow, & Flash were sitting at a big round میز, جدول with the JLU logo in the middle.
"Courage." Batman said, standing up.
"Yes, sir?" ہولی asked.
"The Justice League has voted about your position on the Team." Batman said.
'Uh-oh' ہولی thought.
"Five of us voted to kick آپ off." Batman said. "Four to keep you. So we're tied."
"Tied?" ہولی asked, redoing the math a few times in her head.
"My vote counts as two." Superman کہا with a helpful smile.
"Because of this, آپ get a chance to prove yourself." Manhunter said, standing up.
"Prove myself?" ہولی asked.
"In a mission. If آپ succeed, آپ stay on the Team." Manhunter said.
"If I lose?"
"You are banned." Batman said. "Permanently."
