Chapter 8:


"Sportsmaster?" Beast Boy said.

"You say his name one مزید time I'm going to kill you." Revenge said. "YES Sportsmaster. Who else would give me a run for my money?"

Nightwing raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, I forgot." Revenge said. "The All Mighty Nightwing."

"What was he doing?" Blue Beetle asked.

"I don't know. He was just walking in civilian clothes. I followed him into an alley-"

"--and got your butt kicked." Beast Boy replied, grinning. The grin quickly faded as Revenge grabbed him around his throat. Nightwing leaped to separate the two, but Revenge let Beast Boy go.

"You have no idea what he was doing?" Nightwing asked again.

"Are آپ deaf bird-boy? NO!"



"This, this is too much." Barbara said.

Megan slipped an arm over her friend's shoulder. "It wasn't your fault Barbara. آپ didn't know."

"That's not an excuse! I should've known! But I didn't hear her breathe... I-  I-"

"I agree with Barbara." Cassandra said, clutching her stomach. "We disintegrated a pussy cat today.I got sick in my mask."

"I'm not doing well in my classes," M'gann said. "But it is enough for Batman to swoop in."

ہولی looked up.

"No."

"No?!" the three exclaimed mentally.

"No." ہولی repeated. "I've been in these schools before. There isn't enough information on this school to bring them before the ICC. They'll escape and brainwash girls from the beginning. Then there is no way for us to continue. Barbara, I know that accidentally killing that girl has devastated you, and Cass, the pussycat made آپ sick. But that's not enough. The school will claim the pussy cat was being cremated and the girl was a dummy inside a dummy. We need solid proof. We need out right cold blooded killing."

"You're going to wait to the point of cold-blooded human killing آپ disgusting piece of New York slime!" Barbara yelled telepathically, starting to stand up, but M'gann forcing her down before she could attract attention.

"I was an assassin." ہولی replied coldly. "Captain Adams and Nightwing assigned me to this mission to call for the proper time to extract you. I'm in charge of the extraction time. Nightwing doesn't call in reinforcements until I give the word."

M'gann's eyes glowed. "She's not lying."

Before Barbara could actually preform bodily harm to the nineteen سال old, the Headmistress, Catalina Flores, stepped up to the Podium.

"Girls! Our board of directors wishes to make an announcement!"

"Board of Directors?" ہولی muttered. "She can't mean--!"

Before ہولی could finish her sentence, the screen behind Miss Flores lit up with the faces of Queen Bee, Vandall Savage, Klarion the Witchboy, the Brain, and Lex Luthor.

As one the girls bowed. Raising their right hand they chanted:

"Hail the Light!"

"That enough proof for you?" Barbara asked, same position as the other girls.

ہولی gritted her teeth.
