anyway, Jake and Danika don't have THE chemistry.
1)at the time they were shown 2gether Rose actually wasn't feeling anything for him (remember about Homecoming episode)
2)watch carefully episodes :) Rose was all the time saying they shouldn't be together ("it's too dNGEROUS"), she let Brad dance with her at the school party just right after she kissed with Jake... Nothing stopped her from breaking Jake's heart many times... Isn't it obvious that Jake wanted somebody who would be just there for him, with no "dangerous things"? Put yourself in his situation :)
3) Btw... Who knows what will 3rd season bring ;) On fanfiction.net there are even some stories of Rose and Danika fight!
4) and the most important: of course you can have your opinion, if you don't see my arguments right it's fine :)
