Online reaction to their character design was largely excited chatter over their cuteness, although several fans noted that they barely seemed to have changed from their usual forms (seen below).

: The Last Wings of Mankind lets players fight Titans, explore their environment and upgrade their weapons with an online community. Young Erwin and Hange are gacha, special prizes similar to the capsule toys available all over Japan: they must be paid for without precise knowledge of the contents.
