In the end of season 5 when buffy died why wasn't another slayer activated?

After buffy died the first time Kendra came after Kendra died faith. Buffy died so it was if she was already dead so a new slayer wasn't activated. Hope I helped. Don't want to sound rude but would آپ like to شامل میں th buffy season six شبیہ contest???
