My دوستوں کہا this and made me mad!

I think the Lovely Bones and Twilight are completely different. They can't really be compared.

The Lovely Bones is based on the father not giving up on his daughter's case. It is love. But it's a fatherly love.

Twilight has to do with two teenagers falling in love. The "obsessive" love where the other person appeals to آپ due to attraction. آپ see each other, آپ talk, آپ court, آپ fall in love.

These two can't really be compared in my opinion. And can I say something? It's been...too long since I have debated with anyone. Sometimes, it's hard to deal with those types of شائقین that can't see eye to eye یا at least be objective. But same thing goes to the antis.

Both شائقین and non-fans of the Twilight series have their kooks. I wouldn't dwell on it though. In the end, it's all fiction. People take from کتابیں what they will, whether آپ find the message good یا bad in your opinion. But people take from کتابیں what they will due to what they have experienced.

Maybe that's not the case for your friends, but remember, not all Twilight شائقین are like this.

I know insane Twi-hards who should be detained, but insulting a book that actually has a good, dramatic, climactic plot is cold. I hate when those people who love the plotless void with an سیب, ایپل on the cover bash good کتابیں like Harry Potter and Percy Jackson. It makes me sick.
آپ can tell your friend that The Lovely Bones has مزید plot than all four Twilight کتابیں plus Meyer's novella combined has and to try reading the کتابیں instead of watching movie preivews.

My best friend کہا Meyer is the best writer in the world, she کہا she wrote the best series ever, she insulted HP and PJO at least 5 times in every sentence but this is a scandal!

People have their different opinions but honestly I think that your friend was doing no مزید than attacking the book آپ spent so long to read. I can't say too much but I can say this, there is no need to attack each others opinions یا get into an argument that could ruin the friendship. I'm sure nether of آپ would like that.

People have the right to voice thier own opinions but i can understand how آپ feel if they voiced thier گیا پڑھا مرتبہ in that childish "It is stupid, omg i love twlight" sort of manner, if they are constructive and aren't rude then thier argument is reasonable, if it's mean well it's mean and they shouldn't be like that. I think آپ shouldn't really bring up the debate again, as i don't think you'll be able to persuade them, but if they say thier opinions about the book (and not in a constructive way) then آپ give them your opinions about twilight! Can i just say well done for bieng intelligent and reading a book other than the vampire teenage genre! i mean there's nothing wrong with reading vampire teenage genre, but there is when آپ are obsessed with it, and آپ disagree wth everything else :) Hope this helps :D x

I think آپ should have accepted that she has a different opinion than you, and explain calmly to her that she should do the same, then اقدام on.

The Lovely Bones has a stronger and مزید powerful message of love than Twilight could ever dream of having. Even if Twilight was a good and well written series, it would still lose. Family love beats out obsessive teenage crush love any day.

It was incorrect of them to say that Twilight is better. No book is inherently better یا worse than any other. They can be better یا worse from a literary perspective, but enjoyment of a story is too subjective to be broken down into "objectively better" and "objectively worse" :)

I love Twilight, but I didn't like The Lovely Bones. That doesn't mean Twilight is better, it just means that I enjoyed it more. That's not the same at all! :) You're دوستوں weren't quite right.
