9. Mulan
Mulan is strong willed and full of spirit. Disguising herself as a male soldier to protect her Father, she sets out on a great journey of self discovery and of knowledge. Meeting many interesting characters along the way, she falls for her Captain, Li Shang. Later on they discover she is a woman, but she surprises them all سے طرف کی making a comeback and defeating the Hun army in the end. The ending to her story is kind of a let down. Although Shang does follow her home, there’s no sense of passion between them. No romantic kiss یا riding off into the sunset for these two. Voters didn’t like the fact that it ended with her and Mushu, while others found it funny when Grandmother Fa asks Shang if he will stay forever.
8. Aladdin
The is a fun loving, song filled, action packed movie with numerous adoring fans. It has everything; action, comedy, and love ♥. At the end we almost believe that Princess جیسمین, یاسمین and Aladdin can never be together, because the law states that she must marry a Prince. The Sultan then changes the law, so that they can finally be together. Fireworks explode in the Arabian night sky, as our two lovebirds fly away romantically on a magic carpet. Fanpopers love it…that is until the Genie pops out of nowhere, scaring the bejesus out of everyone. Many say that it ruined the “happily ever after” scene for them, while a few, like myself, found it kind of funny.
7. Pocahontas
As the first American Princess, Pocahontas never ceases to amaze us with her nobility and desire to establish peace. Determined to walk her own path, she goes against her Father’s word and befriends the pale face John Smith and they quickly fall in love. After being captured سے طرف کی the Indians, we almost lose hope that Pocahontas and John Smith will be together. Her Father finally sees that war is not the answer, and frees John Smith. We all thought, at last…they can finally be together…but then, John Smith jumps in front of a bullet in order to save Pocahontas’s Father. Wounded and without proper medical treatment available, John Smith must return to England in order to survive. Instead of giving up everything to follow her hearts true desire, Pocahontas decides to stay, in order to establish peace between her people and the settlers. They say an emotional goodbye, and go their separate ways. The voters felt disappointed that the film didn’t end on a happy note, like all the other Princess movies. It’s bittersweet and heartbreaking.
6. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
After the Evil Queen is defeated, the Dwarfs rush back to their cottage to discover Snow White dead (or so they think). They love her so very much that they just can’t bury her. So they make her a coffin made out of glass and gold, and place her in the forest. The Prince that fell in love with Snow White in the beginning heard a rumor about a girl who slept in a glass coffin. He comes to pay his respects, and gently kisses her on the lips, and then drops his head down out of sadness. About that time Snow White’s eyes start to flutter, and she awakens. She sees her handsome Prince and reaches her arms out to him. The Dwarfs and forest animals are so happy they jump around doing cartwheels. Snow White kisses their little bald foreheads, and rides off into the sunset with her Prince.
5. Sleeping Beauty
Coming in at number 5 we have the romantic tale of Sleeping Beauty. At the end of the tale Prince Phillip battles the evil Maleficent and defeats her. He rushes to the highest tower in King Stephens قلعہ and finds the beautiful Princess Aurora lying asleep. He leans down giving her true loves kiss and she awakens. She then gets to meet her parents for the very first time, and then she and her handsome Prince waltz around the ballroom, while her dress changes colors from blue to pink, compliments of the three good fairies. Whirling around and completely in love they dance through the clouds and they live happily ever after...it’s the epitome of romance.
4. The Little Mermaid
At the end of this “tail” we find our پسندیدہ red head sitting on a rock, gazing at the ساحل where her handsome Prince is. آپ can literally see the sadness in her face, knowing that she will never be able to be with Prince Eric again. As her Father watches her, he finally understands that his little Ariel will never truly be happy unless she is human. So, making one of the biggest decisions a parent can make, he decides to let her go, and live her own life the way she wants to. Ariel rises out of the water wearing a lovely sparkly gown, which to me represents how bright her دل must be glowing at this point, and runs to her Prince. She marries Prince Eric on a ship out in the ocean, with her family and دوستوں all in attendance. She gives her Father a big hug, and with tears in her eyes says, “I love آپ Daddy”. And she sails off into the horizon under a beautiful rainbow; compliments of her Father.
3. The Princess and the Frog
Our newest Princess made it further in this countdown than I thought she would. At the end of the movie we were all sad because of Ray’s tragic death and Tiana and Naveen were still frogs, but on the other hand they were in love. They decide to get married anyway, and live happily ever after in the bayou hopping around. When they kiss at their wedding, they magically transform back into humans, and just like that a new Princess is born. They buy the restaurant that Tiana and her Father always dreamed of opening. They fix it up and name it “Tiana’s Place”. This goes to دکھائیں آپ that dreams do come true when آپ believe!
2. Cinderella
Cinderella…the sweetest story ever told. The kindhearted Cinderella has a hard life being forced to be a servant in her own home. She never lets anything get her down, and always remains peaceful and positive and keeps on believing her dreams will soon come true. The Prince immediately notices her when she enters the ball, and that was all she wrote. Love at first sight. She runs away at midnight, leaving behind a glass slipper. The Prince, desperate to find her, begins a تلاش in the kingdom. Lady Tremaine comes to the realization that Cinderella is the girl that the Prince is looking for. In an evil attempt to ruin her dreams, she locks Cinderella in her bedroom. To her surprise, Cinderella’s animal دوستوں come to her rescue; they recover the key, and Cinderella hurries downstairs to stop the Grand Duke from leaving. In her last attempt to ruin Cinderella’s happiness, Lady Tremaine trips the man holding the slipper, and it breaks. But then Cinderella whips out the other slipper, and the look on the bitches face is PRICELESS. Wedding bells ring throughout the kingdom as Cinderella and her Prince Charming descend down the stairs. They hop in a carriage, ride off and live happily ever after.
1. Beauty and the Beast
Beauty and the Beast has an epic ending. We see the love between Belle and the Beast slowly bloom, and just when we think the spell might break, he lets her leave to go and help her Father, proving that when آپ really love someone, sometimes آپ have to let them go. Gaston and a load of angry villagers storm the Beasts قلعہ in order to destroy the Beast, all because of Gaston’s vanity and jealousy. The Beast doesn’t fight back until he sees that Belle has returned, and then it’s on…he grabs Gaston سے طرف کی the throat and dangles him over the balcony, but puts him down and tells him to “get out”. Belle appears and the Beast rushes to her; but then Gaston stabs him and falls to his death. Belle pulls the Beast over the balcony and lays him down. He then tells her “its better this way; at least I got to see آپ one مزید time”, and then he dies. Belle, who is obviously distraught and heartbroken begins to cry and whispers, “I love you”, with one tear falling onto the Beasts face. Suddenly the wind starts to blow and the Beasts body raises and transforms into a man. Once Belle takes a good look into those gorgeous eyes, she realizes that it is him. The rest of the قلعہ and its inhabitants turn back to the way they were before the spell. Then we watch as Belle and her Prince dance around the ballroom, together and happy at last. We then see a lovely stained glass window of Belle and the Prince. A wonderful ending to a magical love story.
