I don't know. Why do people choose Rapunzel? We get told that she was a great ruler, who lead the kingdom with wisdom and grace and was beloved by all.

I don't think she's queen material.

I just don't see her as an effective queen. The others all have more characteristics of a good queen/someone to train them in how to be a queen.

^^ I agree. At the end of Tangled, they mentioned how compassionate and wise Rapunzel was as a ruler. Merida also gets training--- and we see her act like "the queen of DunBroch" for one moment in the hall with all of the men fighting each other.

Tiana does not have any of the qualities for being a queen--- she has no training, and no background at all. She only has her culinary arts. I don't think she would be a good queen.

Tiana is quite resourceful, efficient, dutiful, and works with people well. I think she has some queenly qualities. Not a ton, but more than Merida and Punz. I really don't buy the whole "her mental issues magically went away and a happily ever after" thing. If the movie had been more portrayed like a real fairy tale (like the classics or TLM) I could buy that, but it's supposed to be more realistic. At least the characters are. Psychological grooming doesn't magically go away over night, and it would cause big issues for the ruler of a kingdom. Why do people think Elsa would be bad for that reason (which I agree with) but not the other psychologically screwed up heroine?

and not to mention, you guys forget Flynn lies constantly in the narration, as Rapunzel pointed out. Do you really want to take his word? Besides, simply being informed of something never makes it a fact.

Show don't tell you guys. I'm sure they all would make good queens but of the ones left, Rapunzel might struggle a bit with actual administration, she's great with people but I don't know how she'd handle economics, political treaties, etc.

Was Raised In A Cottage! Come on Merida developed character and with all the lessons her mother gave her she would indeed be a good Queen.
