I think Merida should win this. She's the most developed DP in my opinion.

I don't even understand why Merida is still here...she doesn't change at all, she only admit that she made a mistake. Elenor is the one who mostly changes in this movie. Mulan on the other hand...she becomes self-confident, learns to fight, learns to trust in her own strengths, no other Disney Princess develops as much as her.

Both develop a lot though out the movie, but maybe Merida a bit more than Mulan.

Merida realises her mistakes, becomes more selfless, understanding of her family and respects traditions more. She really does through a big development from how she started-always right,selfish, not understanding her family(mother especially) and discarding family traditions. In what an hour and a bit she changed so much.

Mulan changed a lot too, but Merida is better developed,

IMO Merida changes a LOT, not as dramatic as Mulan's, but she realistically changed.

Mulan doesn't change, IMO, I feel as if she's still that awkward girl. All that happened was that she pulled her shit together for a war. She doesn't become that confident, she was always reckless. In the beginning of the movie, she spoke against her father leaving, in the end, she just took matters in her own hands. She wasn't even 100% sure of anything going her way, aka, not a lot of comfidence.

Anywho, as unpopular as my opinion is, she just doesn't change.

Merida should win this - I mean come on, how could ANYBODY argue that ANY DP character changed more than Merida?

Both of them deserve to be here. They really are he princesses that have developed the most. But I'd like to see Merida win since I think she developed a bit more.

I don't get it. So you guys mean that a developed character is a character who changed in the end? O.o Pocahontas changed more than Anna or Elsa did. But why is she the one who got eliminated first out of the three?

On the other hand, I think the developed character is a character who has no inconsistency or contradicting their usual personality; who has the same personality. They may changed into someone who is better, example they are selfish in the end they changed, but they are still the same character.

Well, both of them are very developed. I just think Merida's personality is more stable. She changed in the end, but she is still the same Merida with more understanding and more selfless :)

I personally think that Rapunzel and Tiana should have beat Mulan. But Merida earned to win.

I think that Merida had the potential to be most developed but the movie was rather uneven. She came across just stubborn and seemed just suddenly change her mind about her mother when the plot needed her to change. It was just a bit jarring.

Mulan seemed very believable character the in entire movie and the subtle chances in her personality were natural and earned.

I just think Mulan is more developed plus I like her more. I also like the reasons for Mulan's actions more. Merida was selffish and Mulan was selfless.
