I just don't like how most of the characters have buggy eyes and '80s bangs.

People hate the main character ( Ariel), and the story/dialogue.

What I think people dislike the most. This is pretty much it for most people, the film hardly gets any criticism, (besides against Ariel) from what I've seen.

For what I dislike most, that would be the songs or the villain.

The "nothing" option is missing...

I think this is the most controversial part of the movie. I think the general consensus is the animation is good, the songs are memorable, the pacing is done well, etc. But the main character and how the plot revolves around catering to her every whim? Not so much.

Aw this makes me feel so sad...! I love the Little Mermaid. Everything about it. Can there be an option for "nothing"?

@Animaluco and @MissCassecou The question is also, "What is disliked most about TLM?" Meaning you don't have to only picked based off of personal opinions. Also including a, "nothing" option would sort of defeat the purpose of this question...don't you think?

I do have my issues with her but on balance my love for her far exceeds my qualms with her.

I can't do this.... I love everything about this movie!

This and the main character. Seems everything else works well for the people.

If " the way it is different from the original story" was a option I would take that. I know that films should not be a slavish adaptions, especially the Disney fairytales, but I can't help but compare since I feel it would have made the films better if it was closer to the original. But if I do not consider the differences the plot of the film is actually good so I can not pick that as an option.

@Sk8er_grl Yes, but in a previous question about BATB, the "Nothing" option was available, something Tygers_Eye usually points out (like what icons people use are biased to each princess) and for some reason didn't here. Hmm, biased against Ariel? So I think if it was included in the BATB poll, it should be included here.
