Congratulations, superfans! You’ve reached the Elite 8 of the

Zap2it Social Media Showdown, and that crown is just within reach. With only eight contestants left, it’s time to organize voting parties, start a Twitter campaign and make some allies from fallen fandoms because from here on out, it’s going to be a bloodbath.

Our first match up is between the fiercest feline in “Gotham,” and “The Magicians” Arjun Gupta, whose devoted fan base turned the tide in his favor over “Once Upon A Time’s” Colin O’Donoghue, but don’t count Camren Bicondova out just yet. She may be small, but just like her character, Cat, she’s not to be underestimated.

Next up, Sam Heughan faces off against Emily Bett Rickards in what will likely be the fiercest battle of this showdown so far. Heughan brings the “Outlander” contingent with him, a fandom that has surged to life recently with Season 2 so close. Rickards holds the Olicity trump card in her hands though, which should make this an interesting fight.

Brett Dalton and Adam Levine are an interesting pair up, mostly because Levine is the single musician left standing. While he can certainly hang with the TV crowd, being on “The Voice” every week, it’s anyone’s guess if he’ll be able to defeat Dalton and the wrecking ball that is the Marvel fandom.

“Supernatural” fans have been helping Jensen Ackles coast through this competition so far, but now that he’s matched up with Sasha Roiz, he may have met his match. Roiz and his “Grimm” fans are no easy competition, having just soundly whipped Lucy Hale and her unbeatable little liars in the last round.
