I'll admit, I have a pretty diverse bookshelf. I have the Harry Potter Complete Series box set اگلے to my Twilight books. People who burn/flame either book are either A. extraordinarily biased یا B. have a legitimate reason and may actually have something intelligent to say. To find out what people thought, I decided to ask people who surrounded me at school what their opinions were. If you're interested, read on...
I took a survey of my fellow female students to see what they thought at my middle school (what possessed me to do so, I cannot say), and many of the جوابات I heard were something of this sort:
1. Edward/Jacob is hot.
2. It has مزید love.
3. It's easy and/or fun to read.
I also surveyed my male classmates to see why they hated Twilight (even worse than the last one):
1. It's gay.
Other than the fact that the boys who go to my school are prejudiced, single-minded homophobes, we can draw the conclusion that everyone who reads Twilight has a very strong opinion of it. Either the readers love it یا hate it. My conclusion is that 101% of boys never read Twilight in their and say it's gay anyway. (They probably کہا this because it's not masculine to read a مقبول girl's romance novel series and they judged the کتابیں before they got to know them).
While reading this, you're probably wondering what I think of Twilight. Personally I like it (not as much as I like Harry Potter and Warriors) but it's still pretty high up on my فہرست of پسندیدہ books. I own the whole series, plus an unauthorized guide to the series and the movie book thing یا whatever. My one problem with the کتابیں is the unpleasable fanbase. I mean, آپ can't get much ruder and meaner than completely-crazed Twilight fans. As an insanely obsessed Harry Potter fan, I can honestly say that I respect those who don't like Harry Potter. But if آپ say something rude such as "I HATE HARRY POTTER!" آپ can't expect me not to get offended and retaliate. I'd probably say something like "You've never read the کتابیں and آپ know it. آپ just say that because آپ like Twilight," and expect آپ to respond in a huffy way. This is understandable. But I love Twilight, so it, too, pisses me off when someone says it's stupid یا otherwise (whatever). Just remember though, I have never been a malicious fanatic.
