Why everybody loves Snape and hates James?

We know that he did a lot of good things, why else would Harry be so shocked hearing this? Because all he heard, before this point was the good stuff.

I dunno. It seems that as soon as people read Deathly Hallows they suddenly forgot all of the crap that Snape did, and how horrible he was, and they immediately decided that Snape was now wonderful cos he 'loved' Lily. They also all seem to ignore the fact that it was a two-way thing between James and Snape as they both attacked each other, and they try to insist that James was a nasty bully and that Snape was a poor victim when this wasn't true at all. They were both as bad as each other. And at least James didn't use dark magic on students. Also, who knows what Snape and his wannabe-death eater دوستوں were doing to students that we didn't see. To me, Snape was much worse than James. James was a rich spoilt brat, who detested the dark arts (which was mainly why he hated Snape), but grew out of it and eventually stopped acting like a show-off prat. Snape on the other hand, never grew out of it and carried being a vile bully to people his whole adult life. He was already into the dark arts when he got to Hogwarts, invented dark magic spells, was very prejudiced against muggleborns and became a death eater who tortured and killed people for fun after he left Hogwarts. If it wasn’t Lily whose life was in danger, he never would have دیا his lifestyle a سیکنڈ thought as he didn’t believe that there was anything wrong with what he was doing, and would have happily carried on being a death eater if Dumbledore hadn’t forced him to become a spy for him.
