Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Will Be Two Films 

I wish they weren't making it into two films - might make it a bit confusing. But oh well. I guess this means they might stick to the book a bit more than they would have if there was only one film and not chop the story up as much as I think they did to The Goblet of Fire and The Order of the Phoenix.
I guess it'll be good for business too. There will be two films for people to pay money to see and buy. And there will be more merchandise to sell.
And i guess it'll be nice to see The Deathly Hallows Part I and still have another movie before both the books and movies are completely over.
Well it'll be different, that's for sure.

I actually think it's a great idea, and wish they would have done it with more of the movies. they have butchered too much of J.K. Rowlings great story-telling throughout the series. Thanx for the comment.

I have decided that I am happy about it. Sure we have to wait six months, but I'll take a more accurate and amazing two films over an average final film. Plus, this enables me to do a midnight showing in the same month of my college graduation!! Yippeee!

Congrats on the college graduation! Seeing a Harry Potter movie is a great way to celebrate.

I am a little torn. I think I like the idea of two films becuase it will be closer to the book, and there is just so much going on that there is no way for them to put it all into one movie. Then again, I hate the idea of having to wait that long between the two parts of it. At least it isnt a year or more wait so I guess it won't be as bad.

sticking to the book my ass. maybe they WILL stick to the book, but the 6th one is longer than the 7th one, so there's really no need to split it into two movies. I think it's gonna suck b/c the first part will leave off at some crappy place, like they did with the golden compass.

Before you start complaining about the producers just going after money, take a big look at the two books (Year 5 and 7). Year 5 had A LOT of crap that didn't pertain to the main story, which means it could be cut easier. Year 7 has almost no side stories, so nothing can be cut. Remember this before you start running your mouths, please. Thank you.

I think it's great!
I was a little bit dissapointed with OOTP because it missed out so much, so it should be good to have the last movies(s) more detailed and staying true to the books more.
I just don't know if I can wait 6 months to see the 2nd part!
But I don't really know how they will end the 1st part well if it's right in the middle of a story!
