gonna run simmilar to the fan-fiction contest, only this is NON fiction lol

Rules
-must follow round guidelines
-bi-weekly contest
-must be in essay form
-must be WRITTEN BY YOU!
(but as long as its written BY you, it can be about ANYONE/ANYTHING you choose-following topic)
-obviously(Non-fic) must be a TRUE story
-ONE entry per participant
-MUST HAVE title (not simply "round __ entry")
-NO limit on # of participants
all rules are subject to change at any time
suggestions are always welcome

judging
entries will be judged by 3 catogories
-best description
-best storyline
-best writting technique
DO NOT VOTE FOR YOURSELF!

OMG you hit the theme I was writing my book about... LOL XDD But I won't entry with a piece of my book since it's like 31 pages for the first three chaps and it's pretty huge story. Sooo I'm in. I think I can do it. LOL this will help me get better at writing. And besides is easier to create new characters when it's not a fanfic. Thanks for creating this =)

But wait a second. Shouldn't it be topic? Because theme is the lesson the author's leave in their writings. At least that's what I saw in literature class...

rick, it doesnt have to be about THE actual music, so maybe you write about not hearing music...or something like that. its more of a life experience things than anything else.

guys, it doesnt have to bee ALL ABOUT MUSIC...that has to be mentioned.

for instance, mine is about another life lesson, read it and you will have more of a sense on what i expect for this contest.

Why oh why oh why 1st person narrative?? *sad face* I hate writing that way...*sighs* Ok Ok I'll make it in 1st person narrative. But then I have to change the whole idea... Ok enough rant. ALthough now I have to think of something new to write since the story wouldn't fit with that kind of narrator but well whatever. I might have to post my entry tomorrow due to the changes...

The picks are OK but I think it will be easier to just make 1 since were not all experts in the way of writing and blah blah. I still love this contest...

May I give a suggestion for other poossible rounds topics??
