Kim Soo Hyun is looking to join another drama before his military service!

Real\', which is expected to complete in June. It was originally reported that this movie was his last screen appearance before the military. However, a cable drama network associate revealed Kim Soo Hyun\'s new plans as he said, "It turned out that Kim Soo Hyun has time before the military. Following the movie filming, he will have time to shoot one more drama between the end of the year to the beginning of next year. As a result, the actor is constantly being given love calls from various dramas."

KBS \'Producer\' back in June, Kim Soo Hyun has only focused on filming \'Real\', and it has been almost a year since he made an appearance. Aside from the movie, Kim Soo Hyun is currently looking over drama offers."

Kim Soo Hyun\'s representative also made a comment as he said, "It is his first priority to complete the movie, but drama offers are continuously coming. If there is a good one available at a suitable time, then he is willing to take the offer."

Doubt it. His only competitor is himself. Six months of filming and cancelling all activities (except for ZUK FM which was already postponed from last year) for a 2 hour movie. He is putting all his blood and tears into it. SK industry insiders are predicting that this movie will take Soo Hyun\'s popularity to another level.

Whether he does a drama or not before he enlists, isn\'t it logical that he will be eventually replaced as the hallyu king during his two years of service? I don\'t think that during those two years KSH will remain as the hallyu king. So I don\'t understand why he or his company should be threatened about something like that when it is supposed to happen to begin with. I just don’t get it why KSH doing a drama before he enlists is such a issue here, him being threatened to be replaced by Song Joong Ki. Is it really questionable that he suddenly decided that he wanted to a drama instead of his initial plans of having “Real” as his final work before enlistment? There are actors that have said that they will enlist last year but did not push through are they also threatened or something because they did not follow their initial plans? I really don’t see anything wrong with them making the most out of the time remaining before they enlist and I definitely don’t see it as them being threatened about their popularity. If by the time he enlists and Song Joong Ki has eventually replaced him as the hallyu king, would that make him feel a little bit less relevant as an actor because he isn’t the most popular anymore and eventually affect him as an actor by the time he finishes his service? I have to disagree with that, the main reason why KSH is really popular (which I believe) is because he is a superb and really respectable actor so him losing the hallyu king crown wouldn’t change anything about him being the actor that he was always was. If Song Joong Ki was able to replace him as a hallyu king on the very first drama he did after he finished his service who knows if Kim Soo Hyun does the same thing after his service and “reclaim” his hallyu king crown and I really think that it’s not impossible for him to do this since he really is one of the best actors out there right now (in my opinion).

Soohyun\'s agecy seems to push soohyun so hard when they suddenly announced the probability of soohyun\'s drama this year.

I totally agree with you about the hallyu king statement. I think most of us who are KSH fans thinks the same way. Well about Keyeast pushing him, I personally think that if KSH doesn\'t find any drama that catches his attention he wouldn\'t do it. It would be really dangerous if the agency insists him on doing a drama that KSH doesn\'t really like to do and ending up not meeting the viewer’s expectation of him because he just did the drama because of the pressure from his agency. I think that one of KSH unique abilities as an actor is that he chose his roles that he really wants and that really challenges him (perfect example would be how he insisted to do Producers and Real even if the agency doesn’t want to allow him to it at first). So if he did a drama without those conditions although I trust him that he can still do well but I’m afraid that he will not give the off the same quality (really good quality) he did in other dramas in which he was challenged and was really interested in. So in the end it will only affect him negatively if he was only forced to do a drama. But I really do hope he finds a drama that he wants to do before he enlists because it would be so hard to keep on replaying a 2 hours movie when you miss him during his 2 years of service versus having atleast 12 hours of KSH drama that we could replay over and over again.

I have a feeling it\'s because his agency is afraid his popularity would subside if his movie doesn\'t do well just before he enlists, which is why a drama is a safe bet to keep his popularity in check.
