In Birth سے طرف کی Sleep آپ meet Ventus, Terra, and Aqua, they are close friends. There is also Master Eraqus, their father figure and teacher, and then there is Master Xehanort...I'll get to him later.
Terra and Aqua are taking the Mark of Mastery Exam and Aqua passes and becomes a Master of the Keyblade, Terra fails due to Master Xehanort's interruption with some Dark magic, and the story continues with the three young Keybladers going to other worlds trying to stop these new and evil enemies called Unversed, as it goes along Ventus meets The Masked Boy, who never fails to have snarky cryptic remarks یا just plain insults for him and his friends. They meets all sorts of new people and دوستوں along the way, and Terra finds himself falling deeper in to the Darkness due to Xehanort's 'guidance.' The story progresses and Ventus is later ordered to go home, he refuses, and the three heroes get into a sort of a fight where Terra leaves abruptly. This is where Master Xehanort comes into play...he tells Terra to let his Darkness flow and take over. This eventually leads Terra to not being able to get out of the hole he dug for himself and as he tries to protect his friend Ventus from Master Eraqus, who wants to stop Xehanort from enacting his plan to make a X-Blade that will destroy the Worlds. It ends up that Terra just kills Master Eraqus...
Terra, Aqua, and Ven end up walking right into his plan, Ventus basically dies and his دل is now stuck in Sora, while his body is in قلعہ Oblivion(Aqua made it from their homeworld). Terra becomes possessed سے طرف کی Master Xehanort and his mind stays behind in The Keyblade Graveyard. Aqua is in the Realm of Darkness trying to find a way out to save her friends...ten years pass, and Sora's story begins, he goes through Kingdom Hearts 1, and then he battles the Organization XIII in Chain of Memories, where Namine sets up the path to Dream Drop Distance in Jiminy's Journal, Roxas was born from Sora sacrificing himself, and he holds Ventus' دل until he returns to Sora at the beginning of Kingdom Hearts 2, all after Roxas forgets his دوستوں Axel and Xion, who need to be saved as well as Terra, Aqua, and Ventus.
Kingdom Hearts 2 gives way to Coded, which gives Sora the knowledge of the Hurt that people are experiencing and he sets off on his own Mark of Masery exam with Riku. This is where Dream Drop Distance begins. They enter the worlds of Sleep and they have to fix the seven sleeping Keyholes and complete their Mark of Mastery Exam and then save the people who are being hurt and sad, those people are Terra, Aqua, Ventus, Namine, Xion, Roxas, and Master Eraqus.
Dream Drop Distance ends with massive unknown spoilers and the beginnings of Kingdom Hearts 3.
