Is there a reason why Leah became a werewolf? Is it really because she's not meant to become a mom?

no she probably can still have kids it was probably the jean went to her brother and herself and/or the jean probably would have never been found/or seen out of her but with so many bloodsuckers (vampires) living in/near/or around Forks so it just kicked in
