Out of intrest, how long did it take آپ to read all of Lord of the Rings? Best and Worst time please.

The first book took me about a month. I was forcing myself to read it because I wanted to know why everyone thought it was awesome. I only had watched the last twenty منٹ of the last movie, and it was interesting, so I wanted to know مزید about it.
The beginning was extremely slow and I was turned off from the first page, but I kept reading. THEN in the last five chapters, I realized how cool it was and how interesting it was. I wanted to know مزید about Frodo's journey. It took me about a month.

The سیکنڈ book was مزید interesting, esp. the battle at the end, and so I read that fairly quickly and I was even sick and read hungrily. It took me about two weeks.

THEN the last one I was on vacation, and on this one I was hooked because I had watched the first two فلمیں and now understood what I was reading. I kept reading and reading and reading, and I finished in about a week.

I'm proud of myself for getting through them because people older than me have stopped midway because it's difficult.

all three about a ماہ and a half but including the simirillion and the hobbit then about two months

Ahahaha, it actually took me aggeeesss because I really didn't like the third one ^_^ I love the story, and I loved the third movie, but for some reason I found the third book really dry :( So it was about 5 months after starting the 1st one that I officially finished the series ^_^ But I read the first two in 4 days.

Last time I read it I was 11... hmm, about 1 ماہ to finish the trilogy. Took me about a ماہ to read The Silmarillion, and I read The Children of Hurin in about two weeks after my 12th birthday.

The first time I read it I was about 11 (in the early 60's, just after the paperbacks came out) It took me about a week.

I bought FOTR from the paperback rack in the drugstore, read it straight through, and was crushed to find out that there were 2 مزید کتابیں and I didn't have them! It took a دن یا so to track them down.

When I was done, I slept for an entire day, and then I started reading them again, مزید slowly, to really appreciate them.

I still read them nearly every year.
