Can someones feeling just go away?

So i met this guy at school and a few weeks into the سال i started liking him and im pretty sure he likes me back. We texted and called each other all the time. And we were really close friends. He started dating one of my دوستوں and it lasted for 2 weeks and when he told me why they broke up he کہا i like someone else and i asked who and he wouldn't tell me. And we flirted a lot and people kept on saying that we would be a cute couple and that we liked each other. I was to scared to make a move. And a bunch of other stuff like that happened. And his best friend would always tell me that the guy liked me. And when the سال was over he went to another school and we stopped on talking. But one of my دوستوں کہا that he was going to ask me out but he switched schools. And a سال later hes back at the school that we went to but im at a different school and i visit the school when i get a chance and we dont really talk because hes very quiet but he was never like that before. Do آپ think he still likes me?
