Queen Elizabeth II became the longest-reigning British monarch in history, surpassing her great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria, and longest-reigning female monarch in world history, sitting on the U.K. throne for over 64 years.

At 90 years old there\'s lots of history to mine for a new TV series, and she\'s already been portrayed on the big screen numerous times, most notably by

Helen Mirren in 2006\'s The Queen, which focused on the time after Princess Diana\'s death.

Netflix\'s new original biographical series focuses on the 25-year-old Queen (Claire Foy), from her wedding to Prince Phillip (played by Doctor Who\'s Matt Smith) in 1947 through the decades of her reign.

The first season will also explore her relationship with

Britain\'s most iconic Prime Minister, Winston Churchill, played by John Lithgow.

These regal series launch billboards emulating 

Queen Elizabeth II\'s classic profile that appears on Britain\'s stamps and coins, were spied around the streets of L.A. from October 25 to November 4, 2016, including along the Sunset Strip, Cahuenga Boulevard, Melrose Avenue, Santa Monica Boulevard and even towering over eastbound traffic along Pico Boulevard on the side of The Mr. C Beverly Hills Hotel.

Daily Billboard can\'t help but think that the ad creative with the tagline "This November, the best man for the job is a woman\', is not some subtle nod to the current U.S. Presidential Election where the country is on the verge of voting for their first female Commander-in-Chief.

Queen Elizabeth II has done it with grace as head of the U.K.\'s royal family for over six decades, so she really does rule.
