Well 5 Seconds of Summer\'s cover interview for Rolling Stone is just the gift that keeps on giving isn\'t it.
Michael Clifford was basically the only band member who didn\'t manage to upset fans with a controversial comment, but while he landed himself in the fandom\'s good books, he\'s managed to piss off Justin Bieber in the process.
Some mega awkwardness broke out between 5SOS and Biebs on Twitter yesterday afternoon when Justin caught wind of the band mentioning him in their RS interview, but after some calm and collected tweets about the whole thang, all drama has officially been resolved.

You\'d think it\'d be the naked magazine cover that everyone would be talking about this week, but instead it\'s 5SOS\'s no-holds-barred interview causing the chaos, and Mikey\'s reported chat about Justin Bieber was just one of the touchy subjects that featured in the write up.
Chatting about Justin in the interview, Michael allegedly spoke about a party of his they attended recently, revealing: "I think he hates us. It was f**king crazy, people standing on tables and sh*t."
"I probably shouldn\'t say this, but he had his own album on loop for, like, two or three hours."
No judgement here seeing as we\'ve had Justin\'s album on loop for about three weeks now, but after hearing what Michael was quoted as saying by Rolling Stone, Justin himself got in touch on Twitter to let him know that he wasn\'t all that cool with it. Awkies.
"Sorry guy. Don\'t hate you," Justin tweeted. "Don\'t even know u. And are u sure u came to our party because my album wasn\'t on loop? Strange."
Keeping it civil and polite rather than causing extra drama, he added: "Wish u the best. Don\'t use my name for headlines. U are already on the cover. U Don\'t need it. Just be honest. Big hugs bud."
Handled like a pro, dontcha think? The tweets were swiftly deleted as soon as they were sent, but not before Michael had a chance to see Justin\'s messages and send over a reply to let him know that it\'s all good in the hood.
Seemingly a bit confused by the quote too, Michael tweeted: "done nothing but praise ur album; no idea why that\'s even in the article. big fan since the start man, take care".
