I think she'll leave for good because Glasberg doesn't want to make the audience mad. They must have noticed fans complaining about EJ because they started the poll at the CBS forums. 86% of the fans who answered said they didn't want to see her and that remaining 14% was divided between "yes" and "I'm not sure". If the difference hadn't been so overwhelming, I'm sure they'd bring her back, since Glasberg seems in love with her.
